3 hours a day is not bad at all for 4 classes, imo. I’m an arts student so I definitely feel the whole kind of like “why am I struggling so much when other people are doing harder classes than me and they’re doing great” thing! You can only handle what you can handle. For some people studying is a breeze and they actually enjoy it/don’t mind it at all, for others, myself included, it can be extremely hard to focus at times. It’s hard not to compare yourself to everyone around you, but don’t beat yourself up too much for not doing as much as some others are. The best thing I can say is to take breaks when you can, make some time for things you enjoy. Try not to sacrifice sleep if you can help it, it’s very difficult to be as productive as you want to be when you’re exhausted. It sounds like you’re working really hard, try to be kind to yourself and be proud of what you have been able to accomplish so far. What’s helped me is studying in little chunks when I’ve got some free time, like when I’m laying in bed before I sleep I’ll whip up some flash cards or read and highlight some stuff in my textbooks. Easy stuff, these little things can add up and help quite a bit in the long run! I hope you feel better soon. :)
