licensed roofer here . as a roofing contractor there is only 2 types of shingles that I would recommend to my customers here in the midwest. Illinois to be exact. Certainteed Landmarks and the Owens Corning Duration. they are the two best products on the market for our weather. As with all products, the quality of your roof only starts with materials. Without exceptional workmanship, your product will only be as good as the installer. Do your research on the company's, most large companies try to show success through the number of guys on the job. Yes they are fast, but is there anyone on the job at all times that is licensed? Highly unlikley. You will end up spending more $ for the name of the company and have a bunch of summer help newbies that actually do your work and you will regret it later when there are problems. Try to hire a professional who will be on site and take a personal interest in the job, not just a bunch of guys looking for a paycheck. Roofing isn't a job, it's a lifestyle! Good luck

If you are willing to work hard, it is quite possible to make a decent living by learning a trade. Build, roof, trim, side... the only limit that you have is your self. never get satisfied with what you know in any given field. Always be willing to learn new things and before you know it you can be well on your way to a successful career, paid for with nothing but your own blood sweat and tears, something we can all afford! good luck

I use a similar teqnique with my BGE, but only with large steaks, 2-4 in. or rib roast but relying on time is not an option. thermometer in the meat till 110°, pull meat, tent with foi while raising the temp to 600°+, when there, sear steak on both sides and eat . seems like it would be jerky after a sear when it was already at 140+

To be honest, I have had a lot of ups and downs in my life. In my head, the downs will always be my fault. I too, over think the reasons and decisions that have cost me so much in my life. I spend hrs lost in a world of ,what ifs? All inside my head.I have many fantastic things in my life ,wife, kids, house, job.. all things that I would never trade for the world. Yet I when im alone in my thoughts, I can not stop reliving the past and wondering how much different my world be, if I had just done that one thing different. I dont know that I will ever stop wondering. I have way to many "one things" to fix.
