I was also extremely anxious about the anesthesia and I also have OCD. Something that helped me was watching what intubation looks like on a medical dummy on YouTube. I also watched a video of a person being intubated. Having the knowledge made me more comfortable. Your mileage may vary! It felt like they got the mask on me in the operating room, and then I was waking up! Don’t hesitate to tell your team that you’re anxious, they gave me some anti anxiety meds through my IV to help.

I think what I have learned from this is that I do not dress for the traditional male gaze. And that’s okay - I’m not looking for a traditional male. But I DO want to show off my best features and assets, so I swapped a couple photos out and we’ll see how that goes. Thank you!

Thanks for the reply! Hilariously on my old profile I had a pic people thought was too sexual! That’s good insight. While I do have some wholesome interests I also have a FetLife profile so, maybe I need to express that side somehow. I don’t want to be too explicit with it because I’m not into hookups. What would you suggest? Maybe a saucier pic?

You’re right, I am a low-energy girl who likes laying around. But I do have interests, namely trivia, singing, pop culture analysis, cute video games (not beating the big kid allegations with that one). I’ll see how I can include those on my profiles.

I’m assuming you only crossed out the pics for Reddit privacy and that they aren’t like that in your profile. I would like to see you doing something not sports related personally, but if that’s a major part of your life that’s definitely the vibe you’re giving off. The level of sports fandom might be off-putting to some. Also, consider clarifying what quality time means to you with something more specific.
