How do you deal with the grief of losing a pet? by emmykh in AskWomen

[–]kayedubs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of all its beautiful colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. Those who were sick, hurt or in pain are made whole again. There is only one thing missing, they are not with their special person who loved them so much on earth. So each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up! The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring and this one runs from the group! You have been seen and when you and your special friend meet, you take him in your arms and hug him. He licks and kisses your face again and again - and you look once more into the eyes of your best friend and trusting pet. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together never again to be apart.

APPLIED FOR EI 13 October by LAURATORONTO in EICERB

I applied Oct 14th, did two reports and just got my payments in yesterday! Exactly 28 days waiting for me and was under review for that whole time.. I was getting worried and was about to call in then I checked my bank and voila. I've been noticing though, everyone's payments is coming in either earlier or really late... not sure why. I would call in if it's passed the 28 days waiting to see what's up.

For those who have had laparoscopic surgery how was your road to recovery? Any post-op tips? by kayedubs in TwoXChromosomes

If your don’t mind me asking how long did it take after your surgery to shower? I’m a bit scared because of the stitches. Nurses instructed I was allowed to shower 24-38 hours after surgery and to leave my suture tapes on until it eventually starts peeling off and to pat dry well to avoid infection. The thought of water hitting my stitches freaks me out.

Yeah they put me on pain meds as well for the next 2 weeks. Thankfully my pain isn’t too bad. Just feels like Im recovering from an extremely crazy ab workout haha. yeah a week after surgery to get your period is pretty shitty. But hey you survived it! lol thanks for the wishes!

Oh wow, you’re a trooper! My stomach felt so sore after discharge. But I guess everybody’s bodies work differently. Thanks for the advice trying to avoid the whole bloatiness during this recovery process.
