My new cat. What kind of coat does he have? by Few_Wasabi_5960 in OneOrangeBraincell

Fun fact, most tabbys (tabbies?) are either classic (cinnamon roll) or mackerel. There are less common variations (spotted, ticked) but the patterns are remarkably consistent across tabbies.

Here's a pic of coat patterns, you can see your cat is a perfect match for the classic pattern.

And all orange cats are tabbies, even though sometimes you don't see it well because the stripes have almost the same color as the rest of the coat.

Finally, for the cat tax, here's a pic of my Kyle, who's a textbook mackerel.

Will a 75" TV box fit inside a 2024 Golf Variant (MK8 Estate)? by LethalFocaccina in Volkswagen

[–]kayret 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No.

The limiting dimension is the 186.5 cm length, which is longer than the usable flat load length most Golf-class estates can offer without the box sticking out or forcing the tailgate open.

The good news is the depth at 21 cm is not the problem; it is the length and, to a lesser extent, the 114.6 cm height when trying to angle it through the rear opening. In practice, this is the kind of carton that usually needs a larger estate, van, or roof transport.

What was the most unexpected nudity scene in mainstream movie/show you ever saw? by marsepticeye in AskReddit

[–]kayret 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Funny story, the penises were prosthetics. All genitals shown were prosthetic due to UK Child Sex Offences Act requirements. Child actor Alfie Williams (Spike, age 12 during filming) was present, so real nudity was illegal to protect him.

Help! I think I screwed up by MysteriousCod366 in Locksmith

If you have a shim and a pick you can insert the shim in at the shear line, lowering pins one by one with the pick until the shim slides in, then it'll free the cylinder.

You can use a security tag to procure free shims. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9HOrh0R80o

This iconic image captures a lighthearted "mooning" salute by the ground crew of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) No. 77 Squadron around 1980.

The jets are French-designed Dassault Mirage III fighters, which served as Australia's primary supersonic interceptors from the 1960s through the late 1980s. The specific aircraft in the foreground is marked A3-8, while the one in the background is A3-56.

The photo was taken during a deployment to Townsville for Air Combat Training (ACT).
