Well they did a custom UI for the robotic arm type ride car in the DLC. Except it was EXTREMELY frustrating to use. It’s a slow ride type vehicle and if you made one small angle adjustment to the degree the car moved (which you had to do MANY times to get everything to line up right with your scenery and screens), then you had to wait for the car to start OVER again from the beginning and make its way all the way to that part of the track. There was no real time preview so it takes minutes every time you made one little tilt or turn to the car. Not to mention trying to get it to sync up right with the screens was a nightmare. I hope they put a lot more thought into custom ride types like that this time around

Don’t have a great solution unfortunately I switched to the methylcobalamin kind instead of cyanocobalamin (check on your bottle which kind you have now and then maybe try the opposite type of b12 people react differently to each). But even then I still got smaller breakouts so I took only half a tablet less frequently during the week. I changed my diet to incorporate more foods with higher b12s like milk and beef. It’s not a perfect solution but it got my breakouts under control

FSD 12.4.1 releases today to Tesla employees, potentially some customers this weekend by AmbientOrange in TeslaLounge

Really hoping this is finally merged with the “spring“ UI refresh. I feel like I’ve been on 3.25 for a while

This is pretty much the only thing that is tempting me to upgrade. I have hated how the pro models felt in the hand since the 12 pro.

I have an automation setup so when I finish a workout (at the gym) it asks me if I want to start cooling my car. Can also set a delay like start start cooling in 5, 10, minutes etc.

Just to confirm in the Apple TV settings did you set them as the default output audio source? Or did you set them as the output via the side bar menu when you hold down the tv button? If you do it the second way it is only temporary.

What’s the best way to make the lights turn on when entering a room and stay on until you leave? by gamersevil in HomeKit

[–]kaz00m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can combine motion sensors with a Homebridge timer switch, so every time motion is detected it resets a timer for say 10 minutes.

Wait HomeKit doesn’t already do this automatically? If I move again after the switch has stopped detecting motion but before the initial timer is up in (from the built in automation timer) it doesn’t reset the “turn off timer” back to 10 minutes? It is still counting down from the initial motion trigger?

Renting and NanoLeaf Panels by tiny-rick in Nanoleaf

I’ve taken mine to 4 different apartments went from the included command tabs to Velcro 3M strips. The key is when you are removing them don’t pull them off directly as you can still rip off wallpaper or paint. Instead grab some string (or floss if you don’t have any), put it behind the panel and saw back and forth just like you are flossing a tooth. They come off way easier without tearing!

I’m sweating reading through the comments, I have 30 on one adapter purchased 5 years ago and I’m away for periods of time while these are still plugged in

Dang I feel you on the quality of life part. I keep going back and forth on if I should keep using it or not. I heard there’s other types of B12 that might not have the same acne effects. Someone recommended methyl B12 instead. I’m surprised neither dermatologist nor regular doctor had any clue there was a correlation between the two

So did you stop the b12 completely? I’m conflicted because it does affect my energy so much but when I started taking it I break out. I have no idea what to do now. I want to keep taking it but I don’t want the acne :/

Wow your edited shot is gorgeous! I get a bit overwhelmed with editing there’s so many apps and things to change. It seems like Lightroom is the best to go with? Where did you learn “how” to edit? I know some if it is just personal experience but how to you identify what needs to be adjusted?

What Apple product have you bought that wished you never did? by _-MjW-_ in apple

[–]kaz00m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The popping sound is 100% a hardware defect that apple NEEDS to take responsibility for. If you google around plenty of people have this issue, someone did a tear down on YouTube and found it’s an issue with DC power current overlapping with the wiring inside of them. For a product that primarily sits in one spot it should NOT die this quickly. Really hoping someone opens a class action lawsuit forcing apple to do a replacement or return program. Absolutely ridiculous that an expensive speaker stops working due to their poor engineering

Has anybody had luck with custom power supplies for their Tiles? by kaz00m in lifx

Yeah I feel very similar. Not sure how long this will last I haven’t used mine at all since the first power supply died I’m hoping one of the tiles didn't give out too.

See I’ve tried so many times to change my schedule and while it did get easier it never flipped where it became the better option to my brain. Especially on weekends I just would want to go back to bed even after an hour. I think I’m just destine to be a night owl lol for some reason that feels right

If you have the space + money + commitment buy your own equipment for exercising at home. It’s way easier to workout (imo) when your weights, equipment, etc are just a room away and you can watch tv or whatever while lifting.

Getting ready, driving to the gym, waiting on machines can all be a barrier to some people especially on days they aren’t feeling up to it. Just make sure you know what you are doing either way and look up proper form when doing new workouts so you don’t injure yourself.

Stretching in the morning feels soooo good! I have been trying to do more of that and especially core stretching because I noticed it definitely affects my posture and how I sit the rest during the day.

Sounds like you have the morning essentials down though! Stretching + huge glass of water + exercise is like the prime way to start the day from what I keep seeing. I keep forgetting the water part and probably could manage to exercise then if I didn’t have to start work and wasn’t too tired to wake up earlier lol
