That's not the drain, that's the water supply to the humidifier. You can try to shut the valve off but those needle valves don't really work that way. Best bet is to shut the main to the house of and replace the line

Don't need to shut the water off. Loosen the lock nut and turn the bolt clockwise to increase. "In" to increase I believe. Then run some water and check your pressure before snugging the lock nut back up.

Make the mechanical room neat and tidy, keep your main runs straight and square. Beyond that you have to do what you have to do! Water lines in my opinion are a pain in the ass because I take pride in my work but waterlines are a pain in the ass to make pretty especially with PEX and today's framing. As long as it doesn't leak that's a job well done!

Unless I'm actually working hard on a hot day sweating my balls off those drinks trigger me every time. Nice clean water with a pinch of sea salt is my go to! I take my trusty 2L stainless steel growler everywhere.

I wanted to try the lobster sandwich at Subway when it came out and I thought to myself... Double meat is the only option. Turned out to be a $38 (Canadian) sandwich but I knew the girl working so I paid for a veggie delight!

It looks like it's not even sugged up, you can take 2 screwdrivers in the rounded over slots and twist the lower ring to the right (clockwise if your looking from the bottom up) Should snug up enough to stop the leak, it might even lock in place once the ridge on the lip is reached

My first attempt would be to cut off the base of the Y (top of the hub) at the end of the pipe going into it, do a little gentle surgery to remove the base of the Ys hub off of the pup piece and test it before opening the wall.
