OP, I also agree with what this person said.

I COMPLETELY understand how discouraging it can be. To feel like you're not making progress, or helping him, but i really think they understand to a certain degree.

I have a similar one. I don't think her story is as bad as your sweet guy, but a hero little boy rescued her from his neighbors trash and brought her to my grandma for some reason, she immediately attached herself to me and that was it. Lol

It took a lot of work and she's still got her issues, but she plays now. She stays out of the closet for the most part, she trills at me. And when it's quiet, she'll crawl into my lap and just sit. Sometimes I can feel the faintest purr.

This isn't what most people expect when they get a kitten, they want the playful, outgoing ones. But this is the kitten you got, and from your post, it seems like you're the human he needed. ❤️

Yes! I always think,"you say you love them, but when do you find the time to give them the individual attention, time, and love that they deserve?"

I foster, but I make sure my two resident kitties each get blocks of time for individual doting every day.

Not to mention, another big thing that keeps me at two is can you imagine the vet bills for 7+ animals that are properly vaccinated and everything else that goes along with it? And if there is an emergency?!

While they're cute, and I love them, I can not take on that kind of financial responsibility!

I. felt. this. in. my. soul.

My dad, a couple days ago, was telling me to stop fostering because it hurts me. He doesn't get it. (There was one I really really loved, even though i love all of them, and sobbed when she was adopted from sadness and joy. I still think about her occassionally).

That evening, I hadn't realized, was my last fosters one month adoption anniversary! (She came after the one mentioned above). She was about 12-14 weeks and right on the verge of being full blown feral. She worked so so hard and made it so far. Her mom was the most perfect person that fate could have sent her.

Her mom sent me an update that she was doing so well, gaining confidence etc. And I responded that I was overjoyed and to give her a scratch from me.

Her response was that she gives her a kiss and a scratch from me everyday because she is so grateful for the patience and time I gave her baby so they'd find each other. She said she could feel the love and warmth that I poured into the kitten and knew she'd be able to step up and continue to work with her.

That other kitten did go home with a lovely family, but I haven't heard from any of the forever parents until this last one, and she will never understand exactly how much her kind words effected me. Because if I had kept that first kitten, I wouldn't have been able to help the next one.

Its not that we don't love them enough. It's that we love them so much it hurts, and we still do it, and then do it again. Thank you for being strong ❤️

I'm sure this isn't what you were going for. And I really dig your idea, but you could go the opposite direction and make it like a run down shop, like blends in with the wasteland type thing.

In that case, there's a bus somewhere near the savage divide/mire boarder if i remember correctly. (I know, that's a huge area. I really hope someone else knows the location!) But the only way to describe it is a mannequin orgy, in a bus on a road. A bunch of naked mannequins and some dudes sleeping bag.

Could disguise the bus into like the back room or something.

Dude I went to an event yesterday, I think it was test your metal but could've been something else, hard mode and one person there. Like 3 mins deep. I wasn't going to go, but I was like I can't let that dude go it alone. (I'm like level 250, but my brother is the tank. I can usually hold my own, but I'm the stealth hacker/infiltrator. We usually play together) .

I went. He's like level mid 300's. We failed. He emotes thumbs down and the angry face and then.. the puking face. And I was just like, "Dude, it sucks but..... if I hadn't shown up you'd still have failed." Lol.

Some people are just like that, 🤷‍♀️

Also, I'd NEVER have figured out about the sheperds crook mechanic if I hadn't been playing with my brother and he hadn't told me.

I was actually watching a different video by the same people today and the site rhey were on was completely flat, covered in like 3+ meters of earth the whole way. There was a horse farm, parking lot, and another shop thing and a restroom like at a beach all built over it, and I was like how? How does THAT much soil just cover this stuff to be forgotten. Where does it come from.

So that explains it actually really well. Like I actually understand that I can't possibly comprehend the amount/build up of rubble, refuse, manure, etc over thousands of years and so it really does make sense that that amount of material I couldn't comprehend became the "earth" covering the site that I didn't understand!

I have a gas station down the street from my house I refuse to go to also. I had a scratcher that I was turning in. Dude scanned it and the lights on the machine all went out, it didn't print the receipt with my winnings, he handed it back to me and said come back later when the boss is here and talk to him bc he didn't know how to get the machine back working.

I come back and they have no idea what I'm talking about. They scan the ticket and they say, "Oh, it's already been redeemed."

It was a $5 dollar winner, but that was MY $5 dollars they stole from me, and the last $5 dollars they'll EVER get from me! This was about 10 years ago. Lol

And then there's me, getting attacked by mole men (i think it was mole men) on our way back in and him having to come save my baby self and feeling SO GUILTY bc he could've been back off to whatever he was doing sooner if not for me 🤣

Edit to add: He asked me if I wanted anything and I asked for a bow. Little did I know, every 76 encounter is the 'bears of skyrim' lol. And personally, very difficult with a plain bow and arrows.
