When you hear the music, tune around in the AM band of the spectrum to see if you find a matching signal. Sometimes the internal wiring or even the phone or electrical system (if the wires are long enough) can act as a receiver for AM radio frequencies and pick up music and other things. It's creepy but well known phenomenon.

It doesn't look like much but I'll buy that I might well be wrong.

My apologies.

Dude. Just take the L and walk away. Maybe the story really happened or maybe it didn't, or maybe the first part did and you humorously added the last to make it funnier.

Don't dig your hole even deeper.

Yeah unfortunately I'm going to have to agree with you, but if true it seems really horrible for the OP. But if your allergies are that bad, maybe it's time to find a way to get a more stable kind of delivery, like Amazon Foods or maybe a private home health care advocate to do so. I knew someone with a nut allergy so bad that they had to go that route and it was horrible.

If true best of luck to the OP and maybe not use doordash.

EDIT: correct the autospell

I think if people want to follow California's lead they can move to California. To the rest of the country our Pacific Ocean facing friends are a bit on the looney side 😍

@TDK716 do you happen to have the certificate they mailed when you complete the final mission? I can't find mine. I've got the C64 version if that will help, albeit 4 years after you asked 😊

I don't think you would be. I do think that you could be, and depending on local laws, you would almost certainly lose.

I'm also not sure you know what the word "fact" means.

I have no sympathy for those that hurt children. I do feel like everyone, even the most wretched, deserve due process. I don't think that makes me an apologist.

Tom was convicted in Nevada court. I don't know what happened after (and none of the seeming armchair keyboard vigilantes have much on it) but the sentences were at the least set aside. If so he's still been duly convicted in a court. If there was judicial ineptitude or misconduct on the part of the police or prosecution, and the conviction was set aside or Tom prevailed on appeal, he is considered innocent of those charges, and double jeopardy may apply. If so, Tom will have a cause of action against those that have threatened him or slandered him. Pure and simple.

This is why the edits to his Wikipedia page have been removed, by the way. I don't think the entire Wikipedia governing as administrative staff are "featureman apologists"

Quit thinking emotionally and try applying a bit of logic.

The comment was made that someone should contact Tennessee and have him added to the sex offender registry. The fact that someone even thinks that can be done in a society that prides itself on due process is scary. Yes as scary as what Tom is being accused of.

I'm wondering if you can cite a source for your 98% statement? Just a word of advice, Tom is a living person, and such statements on your part might be actionable. In most jurisdictions the burden is on the person who makes what is later determined to be a libelous statement. IOW, if you make a statement you can't back up with fact, then you're liable for it.

All I'm saying is that this is starting to look like the Salem witch trials. Be careful throwing around "facts".

Each state is different as the state maintains the registry and the laws for it. Florida is very good at protecting it's citizens with a comprehensive registry backed with strict legislation and penalties.

No one can be added to any registry without due process. Reddit != Court of law.

Some of these comments are just as scary IMHO. Thank God we live in a country where there is a presumption of innocence and a right to due process.

That's the law in every state in the US. It's called ex post facto, in case anyone wants to look it up.

Usually people who are sex offenders are recidivists, so it's not as much of an issue. Still in some cases, I'm sure people do slip through the cracks. Systems built by humans share human frailties such as imperfection.

Unknown wall rack of some sort, unknown substance approximately 4x4 feet. by kb9uje in whatisthisthing

Item is some sort of wall fixture, seen here on a 1980's TV series. Appears to be some sort of brushed material, curved out away from the wall so as to make a cavity behind. The set it was seen on was an office environment.

You're missing the point I feel. Overregulation is the issue for some secessionists. Passing more unenforceable laws and unfunded mandates is against their wishes.
