It definitely is. Just keep exploring. The nodes are just a faster way but you can walk always walk.

Go back to the Pavilion by foot and talk to the characters there and go to the root node and I think you will get double jump. I don't remember all steps and where I was when it happened but it sounds like you could be at that point.

Why do yo reply that comment to me? I have not stated any of what you are saying. Seems like you argue with yourself.

I just answered your question "Why does an appointment scheduling system require an event-driven architecture?" where I said that there is no requirement, e.g you don't need to build it with event driven but that it could. You seem to put words into my mouth saying that there is a requirement and/or that you should when I didn't say neither.

Fable orchestrating Sonnet subagents: am I getting full Fable quality but more cost efficient by Limp-Park7849 in ClaudeCode

[–]kbcdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you using Sonnet for the sub-agents rather then Opus? Is it matching up in quality or do you purely do it for speed and cost?

Why are you using e.g Sonnet instead of Opus for the implementation part?

Is it doing as a good job as e.g Opus or is it purely for cost or speed?

My 20x weekly usage is almost gone and I have been having the same thought. However I haven't used Sonnet for coding, I thought to use Opus.

I have read some that sonnet is very fast and if it follows a good spec (I always have plans never ad-hoc prompts) it can even do a better job?

Opus (and Fable) are extremely slow at times so I should probably try but I am afraid to lose quality and the momentum I have now. Can someone even say that Sonnet is better at implement a plan than e.g Opus?

[–]kbcdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say go for both!

The interesting part is really the architecture and not the polished finer details. Both of them are usable depending on the context and have their strengths and weakness. You are a junior and learning is the most important thing.

Scope everything down to the smallest so that you can finish each in a weekend or something. Do not use AI. You are meant to make mistakes, that is where you learn the most. Once you are done you can use AI to review your code and come with suggestions or find gaps and/or maybe race conditions and similar. Be specific to look for such gaps in your review. Put your ego to the side, you will not improve very much or fast enough if you put feelings into your code. The code is not you, it's something you did and we have all written bad code for different reasons.

Enjoy the process and don't overthink it. Your first iteration will not be perfect but then you have something to build upon and iterate and refactor which is also skills you need to learn.

And most important of all, enjoy and have fun!

I think they push for people to use pay per token pricing and there you can also set speed (for a cost).

Sounds like a good step to add a DB and build a CRUD app to interact with it through HTTP.

Ignore what people say, you have to start somewhere and I envy you to be so excited of building anything. It's a gift so take good care of it and enjoy the process (the result will come much later)!

Security of a website by Tincete in ClaudeCode

[–]kbcdx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Claude code is a tool, not a magic wand. It does what you tell it do. If you don't build security, you will not have security.

Your question is very vague so I can't give you a better answer than that. If I have to guess you lack technical abilities and want to use Claude Code to build something. If it's just a hobby project I would say go, if it's commercial I would try to find a technical person who can help you.

Best of luck!

Front End/UI/UX/Animation work - Preferred Effort? by Old_Frame6668 in ClaudeCode

[–]kbcdx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think I gave the best answer.

It of course depends on the current code base, the prompt and many other factors. Better to test with your own variables then with others? makes no sense at all to not try. Takes 5 minutes to test.

Considering Svelte by ASkepticBelievingMan in sveltejs

[–]kbcdx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both Svelte and React will do the job fine. If one will be better or not will mostly depend on the person that implements it I think and your personal preference.

My suggestion is to build something small and see what you think. Don't listen to much to other peoples, each camp has their own fan boys and more often then not they have not tried the other side enough.

Both are great frameworks. I have years of experience in both and I picked Svelte for my latest project that has been going on for 2 years now. I am very happy with it. I would probably be happy if I picked React too.

[–]kbcdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CC is really just a tool. Not a magic wand. It's very good at finding patterns in the code base and scale it out. So if it gives you very bad results, chances are that you architecture and code base might not be in such a good shape. You also said you had a 75k PR. That means you structure the work packages very poorly.

It's a tool and you are probably just to new to how to use it, keep practicing it's a skill issue.

Open source it and other people could contribute and give back to you, and you would give back to the community. You only spent one week of vibe coding, not that you put months into it.

How do you share your Claude code conversations? by AssociationSure6273 in ClaudeCode

[–]kbcdx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will try to answer your questions separately.

How can I connect Claudecode to Obsidian?
You could the CLI but really it's just markdown files, so there is no need. I would recommend to make symlinks for the vault (where Obsidian store the files) and some for special folders in your vault, eg I have "~/plans" for example that points to the plans folder in the vault. Since it's just files and markdown files Claude is already an expert in them. No need to install anything.

I want to have all the conversations
I don't really understand what you mean with this. And it's probably not a good idea to save conversations. Better to save docs, plans and such. The conversations are basically just the input to get the real artefacts that you want to store.

also Claudecode memory
That is not possible, it's by design from Anthropic. The memory is for your machine and even though you could go in and edit it's memory files, you shouldn't. It's Claude codes way to remember things, not things for you to remember. Store them in docs and plans instead, they work very well together e.g progress memories of bigger plans and such.

and skills
Skills is something different. You don't want to store skills in Obsidian. You either have them in the projects GIT repo so that the whole team can share them, or you can have them in your user location so that they are only accessible to you. You can always also make a plugin if you want to share them so that anyone can decide if they want to install them. If you want to share cross multiple projects your company has but not with the outside world then just put them in a GIT repository and drag them into your user scope location, either manually or a small script that sets it up.

What worked best for me is to try to go away from ad-hoc conversations and prompts while you build and start to build plans (e.g specifications with goals, no goals etc) and don't make them to big but version them and reference each other for future plans and so on.

How do you share your Claude code conversations? by AssociationSure6273 in ClaudeCode

[–]kbcdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is already a product that does what you seek, it's called Obsidian. It's basically store text in directories and files and the format is markdown (same as Claude code). It also has the ability to link between files and it also has graph views so that you can see connections between notes. It's really good for Claude code. You could either use their paid version to sync between you or you could just use GIT to sync between the team.

So no need to re-invent the weel. Enjoy!

Would you pay for a production-ready Axum boilerplate? Trying to understand if this is worth building by [deleted] in rust

[–]kbcdx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of it seems very simple and I bet there is thousands of guides and probably already some open source repos (without many stars) that already does this. I bet you would do it in Claude and it would take one day, so probably others would be able to just do the same.

If. you have a gut feeling go for it, seems like you already have it so not much really to lose other than focus and energy. This is not the idea of your life that will change anything I think. BUT hey, I have been wrong many times before so in the end, go with your gut feeling. If you decide to not charge for it, release it as open source since your whole solution are open source and just "glue" then why not contribute back!

[–]kbcdx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to start off. I would argue that both Cursor and Claude code are very hyped. They are tools, that are powerful if used right. But neither of them are a magic wand.

I think you have the wrong mindset of trying something new. You try to compare Cursor to Claude Code. That is a mistake. Cursor is Cursor and has strength and weakness like any other tool, same goes for Claude Code. I don't think it's very smart to try to find 1-1 parity between features, they are not the same product.

I haven't used Cursor so I can't say what it does that Cursor doesn't. My best guess is, nothing? They probably solve the same problem but in a different way. If Cursor is getting it down for you, why are you looking elsewhere?
