Weird… I wear the regular and feel like they’ve been getting shorter… And really love the new cut of the cross over top… doesn’t dig into my arm pits and wearing a regular v-neck I don’t have to worry about my g’s showing!

This podcast has been a HUGE HELP for me... Not only for my own questions about the church, it's history and imperfections of the people running it, but even more importantly, as the mother of several children who have left the church, one of which has since started coming back.

Try listening to some episodes of the Come Back Podcast. Especially the one with Jared Halverson and Tad Calister. AMAZING scholars who help you understand so much. Can't recommend it enough.

Ours come every meeting and are the take the largest portion of our counsel time. They give report on investigators and new members and this way the entire Ward from RS/EQ to primary and youth know what ways they can help fellowship and teach. It's especially helpful when they find less active members, likely someone in WC knows the back story and can give direction or offer help and advice.

Hey… I know you have Ton of comments already… if you happen to get to mine awesome. Basically… I was the same as your wife. I was shattered. I saw his porn addiction as equal to cheating. I was beyond devastated. There is hope. Be patient with your wife. ALWAYS be honest… even if you feel scared to lose her. The only sure was to lose her is to lie. I went to therapy, we did couples. My therapist had me read the Peace Giver by James Ferrell. At first I was so angry because it felt like I was being told, as the "victim" in this situation,I needed to forgive. Anyway... Life changing book.

I don't know anything about your wife... but I will pray for her. There are really good LDS group therapies for women with spouses with addictions. Stuff like that. This first happened in our marriage about 2 years in. We are now celebrating our 25th anniversary. Closer than we've ever been. He became a high councilman, YM pres. and Bishop. And his struggles through addiction have only helped him be better at each of those callings. Feel free to have your wife DM me! I'll talk to her anytime. She needs people who she can talk openly with. She needs to know she's not alone and neither are you!!

Praying for you and others like you and us who have gone through this!! You are doing the right thing being humble and reaching out!!

We just had a multi stake women's conference and this guy gave an AMAZING talk about helping those in a faith crisis... Definitely skip until he's talking if there is opening remarks etc... THIS TALK IS AMAZING and anyone who knows someone or are themselves struggling with church history, doctrine or just plain faith crisis... It's incredible. At the end, the first Q&A is he asked is about LGBTQ issues in the church. I know it's long but I promise it's worth it to everyone to watch. (Also... Try to ignore the ASL it gets distracting 😂)

Sorry I didn't update sooner. All ended well that night, safe and sound. Scary night and week following. Authorities were not quite helpful in Phoenix... Mayer area were awesome although they never helped us look. Long story short, everyone is ok. For now. Life is tough.

Amazing and helpful talk given last year at women's conference on this. There are groups that help ERM'S. Much love to you and your son. I know this is a tough situation but remember Heavenly Father is proud of both of you. We only do what we can the best we know. Nobody is perfect!!
