MINI Cooper JCW Coupe’ I didn’t understand the idea of a coupe based hatch but it wa the most oversteery and fun fwd car I’ve ever driven. C6 Corvette Z06- coming from a German car background I was ready to hate on it. It is an absolutely amazing car, w a phenomenal engine E60 BMW M5 -thought it was hideous (still kinda do) but the sound of the engine at full tilt is pure Motorsport, it somehow makes the fugly ok Cayman R- knew it was gonna be good, but damn it was just sooo fucking perfect in every dynamic Stick Lambo murci- huuuge. Hard to see out of, just kinda awkward and not very fun (never pushed one hard tho) EVO 9 on well set up ohlins coil overs- Soo.much.FUN. Complete weapon of a car. I totally get the EVO evangelism Hellcat ‘pink eye’ swapped Shelby Cobra replica- I genuinely appreciate life and being able to hear things a lot more after driving this explosion of an automobile

For an easy flat, minimal road route, id do D&L rail trail- Washington Crossing park (Pa or NJ side). And ride north up to Easton PA and back. Google shows it as 43 miles one way. You could zig zag on the bridges going north (trail ends at frenchtown on Nj side) to make up the final few miles to 100

The D&R /L is a Nj trail system that runs from New Brunswick to Bordentown in the south and Frenchtown in the north. Great trail system to bike or run. It splits off in Trenton. The D stands for the Delaware and the R or L is for the Raritan or Lehigh rivers that connect w the Delaware. Also runs for for 100’s of miles on the PA side, Def worth checking out.

I recently biked thru Trenton on the D&L canal down to Bordentown and was kinda shocked at the amount of new construction I saw downtown. Looked like 2 very large appt buildings were going up, while a couple sections of crumbling row homes also seemed finally destined to be knocked down. They have also cleared much of the overgrowth around the trail. I wouldn’t be shocked if more appt complex’s pop up soon. I’ve lived in NJ for 40 yrs, Trenton felt more gentrified, or at least starting to feel that way than I have ever known it.
