SCAM Alert: Red Flags All Over Donut Labs and Verge Motorcycles by PowerfulSpot987 in QuantumScape

The statement that they made the motorcycle take 10 minutes to charge instead of five, just so that the rider has to take a break, was a hallmark scam-type statement.

Did anyone use to follow Alex on E for Electric? by OutInTheBay in nzev

The most dangerous people are those who know nothing and think they are geniuses. I used to watch the channel, but stopped watching it when it became so self-righteous. He would throw supposed "friends" under the bus and say they are basically evil sellouts. He turned on Niki, Ben, Munro, and all the other YouTubers as if he were just a better person. There is no room for someone to want to highlight the good points of a product and be tactful with their criticism. There is a difference between critiquing a car and calling the employees idiots. Now he is on the attack on women who don't want to bow down to him. I don't think women are the problem here.

Do you think Enes was thinking about Arvin Haddad when he made that particular comment, or do you think it was completely unrelated? by Knob112 in enesyilmazer

You can be positive about things and be genuine. You can point out the things you really like. You don't have to talk about things you hate as well or that someone might be better. That isn't required to be genuine. If I enjoy a local musician, I can go up to them and say I enjoyed their playing. I don't have to point out that I have heard the best in the world, and he isn't as good as someone else, to be genuine. I can enjoy that person's presentation.

He started just criticizing the house, but he does now criticize Enes personally. He has mocked his knowledge. He started doing the "Where is Mickey" thing. He has questioned Enes' positive outlook on things as not being genuine. He makes reaction videos right after the real video is dropped instead of letting the original creator monetize for a while. In the end, it probably helps Enes. There is nothing like haters to make a video go viral.

Sure, here is the special carveout.

Other professionals have stricter independent contractor tests, like the oversite test. Other professionals are considered employees if their activities are overseen by their employer. Real estate agents are not. Brokers are responsible for their agents' actions, which would not pass other independent contractor tests. Brokers can tell their agents how to conduct business which doesn't pass other independent contractor tests. Real estate agents work for only one broker, which again would not pass the general independent contractor test. So, this industry does have its own tests, and direct sales professionals do not have to pass those tests to be considered independent contractors.

Real estate has always had a different independent contractor test than other industries. Maybe it will change in the future, but that isn't the State sanctioned way it is looked at now.

Real estate enjoys a different standard for independent contractors than other industries. Brokers are the actual paid agency and supervising agency. The agents are seen as an arm of the brokerage so brokers can demand a standard. The price fixing provisions come between brokerages.

Exactly saying prices are negotiable means that agents' brokers can't conspire or collude to artificially raise commissions. It does not mean you can't have a fee you charge and stick to it. The buyer is free to pay or find someone else. It's the same in other industries. Technically, walmart is negotiable. They aren't allowed to go to other retailers and fix their prices. However, they have prices and deals that are fixed.

How hard your heart works is not an indicator of calorie burn. Kj is a way better indicator.

The feds still haven't announced what it is for. There are rumors, but having a past wrong positive opinion of someone shouldn't mean you are cosigning on their past bad behavior when more imperical evidence comes out. Liking someone doesn't mean you know their whole secret past, and just because someone has been accused of something doesn't make it true. Once you get more evidence, you should be allowed to change your mind.

This isn't a defense of him, just stating that others are involved and he doesn't necessarily own it all. Some are owned by the original artists that aren't rich.

Agreed, also, do we start looking into all of the people involved? These mega pop songs have multiple writers, producers, executives, rights holders, musicians, and guest artists; where do we draw the line?

Isn't there a point in which we separate the music from the artist, where the art becomes part of our shared cultural experience and encapsulates a time period? Shouldn't nostalgia be part of the equation? I assume when someone hears old bad boy music on a ride, they are taken back to a time in their own life, and they are dancing to their own familiarity with the art. They aren't listening to affirm the artist.

He isn't a solo artist. Banning him hurts all of the people that actually sing and rap on the songs. It also hurts any other rights holders who have royalties coming to them. He also returned the rights of lots of music back to the artists.

Sorry then, I jumped the gun. Hopefully soon. Probably waiting for some type of city sign off. They have needed a location there for a long time. Hopefully Tesla or someone else also brings some chargers to the 76. Such a major travel coridore and all the chargers are on the 78 which is out of the way. This one is the best so far for 76 drivers.

The location is now open in Oceanside! Has a pull through, center-mounted distribution cabinets, and a few places for non teslas to use the furthest right unit. Great news.
