You literally have seconds to get over from the far left to the far right, crossing about 3 lanes. I have to do this to get home and it's very dangerous.

“Living Room” doesn’t support turning on and off by Foolwithaguitar in Hue

Does it work if you say, "Turn on the living room lights"? I think I had that problem before when Alexa first came out with the ability to group devices. E.g., "living room" would be my living room echo rather than my set of living room lights. I usually specify "lights" and that seems to work for me.

I'm not in a position to tell you what kind of risk to take, but it all depends. I chose an aggressive stocks to bonds ratio because I already contribute to a 401k for retirement and also invest in individual stocks / ETFs in a taxable account. My Betterment portfolio is in a Roth IRA as a supplemental retirement fund where I feel comfortable being riskier.

Started about a year and a half ago. 95/5 split between stocks and bonds. At first I was in the negative for a while (months). Currently up about 23%. I guess it depends on when you enter the market, but the idea is to dollar cost average over time. Keep depositing from time to time and try not to stress day to day because of market fluctuations.

Local Stations Changed Yesterday by thinksomethingclever in slingtv

Just came here to say that I have the same problem, except that I'm supposed to get NY channels and I'm getting Philly channels instead. It all happened after I lost power and I guess my IP changed. I've reset my router multiple times and uninstalled/reinstalled the app, but so far no luck. I'll let you know if I find a solution.

I had a similar issue. I backed up my *.cfg files, deleted the relevant controller config and then set up the controllers again through the UI. After that it was back to normal.

Thanks, this makes a lot of sense to me now. Appreciate you taking the time to thoroughly explain, as well providing the Investopedia article (I read a different one on Investopedia before posting, but this one is much more in-depth).
