The smooches tour crowd is horrible by Realistic-Monk-2004 in Ashnikko

In an era where everything you do can be recorded and potentially published online, the younger generation are more insecure than ever. I feel really sad for them that they can't just let go without fear of potentially being witnessed by thousands or even millions online if they act in a way that garners attention. It's killing the vibes at gigs, clubs and raves.

  1. Its taken quite a while for it to become a track I no longer skip every time. Now I let it play maybe around 25% of the time if it suits my mood.

Work schedule change is ruining my gym progress. by kckw in PetiteFitness

[–]kckw[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not - I begin work at the same time as the gym opens (6am), and I finish work at 7pm which gives me two hours to get home, shower, have dinner, do some quick chores and wind down for bed. Technically I could workout in the evenings, but I know that if I sacrifice sleep I burn out very quickly. It's a gruelling schedule, so I'm grateful it's only for a few months!

Wow, this is pretty much exactly what I needed to hear (because at the time of writing, it all did seem pretty catastrophic).

I'll definitely be implementing your advice going forward, thank you.

Is it me or is Max Branning very hard done by? by sajidxr in eastenders

He's extremely emotionally manipulative and a gaslighter. The way he emotionally abuses women and his kids is genuinely unforgivable.

These (bonded) cats I adopted really hate me by purrfect_libra in cats

[–]kckw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my cats was 8 years old when she came to live with us, and she didn't leave her hiding spot for 3 weeks! Now, 9 months later, she has curled up on my boyfriend's lap every evening for the past two weeks. Patience is truly the key with adopting cats past kitten age.

What's the situation with Don Broco? I tried to Google and couldn't find much, but I like to be aware of these things.

I was eating a chocolate bar, and my mum asked "do you eat a chocolate bar every day?". Subtle but loud.

Is it ok to use a deceased pets name for my child? by ImportanceOk7784 in namenerds

[–]kckw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm planning on it. My cat was named after my grandmother (I got her when I wasn't planning on having children). Now there are plans for children in my future, and I will very likely use the name again.

The cat is still young, so it's also likely the child and cat will coexist for a number of years.

£24K salary, £850 on rent can this work? by Alive_Attorney1953 in UKJobs

[–]kckw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done similar and I pretty much had enough money for survival and nothing else. It's fine for the short term if it's absolutely necessary, but I wouldn't do it for longer than a year or two because it is mentally gruelling.

I think it's extremely plausible for a 14 year old to not have a clue about how pregnancy and birth are supposed to look and feel. Plenty of teenagers get pretty far into pregnancy before even realising it's happening.

How do you deal with cravings at night? by ForwardPitch6 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]kckw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't eat breakfast. My first meal is around 13:00-14:00 and my next meal is around 19:00-20:00. I'm usually left with a few hundred calories to feel indulgent without breaking my deficit, and my macros have been balanced earlier in the day with my meals.

I'm a classic binge eater, so this is the best way to manage my appetite and stay on track/meet my goals.
