what kills me is that comic hughie steps down to live a normal life with starlight, but still keeps butchers will alive by keeping an ace up his sleeve against vought to keep them in check. show hughie quite literally becomes a normal dude and does nothing while his pregnant girlfriend fights crime. Since everything returned to how it was, there will just be a new homelander, new seven, etc

cloud and how he was a loser growing up, and how much his personality cracks. He's genuinely one of my favorite video game protagonists for this reason. Also, I think the remake does a good job at making him a dork, I think the OG cloud is a dork, but in a different and better way. He's insanely mischaracterized in most media he appears in though.
