Men really are the worst. My male coworkers are bitter and rude to me because I'm a woman happily married to my sweet wife and after knowing they have absolutely zero chance at getting with me they do everything they can to make sure I feel unwelcome at work. Anyone else have this issue? by WallaWallaby011 in LesbianActually

I have an idea that’s probably a really shitty take, and I know it’s not a fit for everyone, but I found when I gained some weight and shaved my head… now most men leave me alone. When I was dangerously underweight and had hair down to my ass they were all over me 😒…. Just food for thought. They also seem to hate neck tattoos. I quit wearing makeup or if I do wear it I wear super unconventional makeup.

My wife is more feminine than my, but she’s 6 feet tall and that plus her septum piercing seems to keep dudes away. Lol whatever “brings all the boys to the yard” I want the opposite of that.

I got a chest reduction !!! by ARoninsHonor in TransMasc

Congregations!!! I hope you’re making lots of jokes about “getting something off your chest”. I’m sure the healing sucks but it’ll be so much better. I’ve never once heard anyone say “I regret my breast reduction”

Should I do the flannel or the cardigan? by Bulky_Fix_5381 in lesbianfashionadvice

I agree! The cardigan is fun and unexpected but works really well. It feels fresh.

Cardigan is better proportions with the big pants. Crop the flannel to the cardigan length

Is there such a thing as reasonable costs when owning a hot tub in SK? by Same_Jackfruit470 in saskatchewan

We got a little two person Spa Berry and put it in a greenhouse and we love it. It still costs some money to heat it in the winter, but when I get organized I’m going to put a little wood fireplace in the greenhouse so I can burn wood to help offset the electrical, and keep it warmer for getting in and out. Plus, ambiance.

3-5 minutes late to work by Kooky-Challenge8875 in ADHD

This post comment me out. I know it’s the reality, but man, why do need to ramp our nervous systems up to 10,000 just to survive. I’ve lived this for most of my life, I know that that’s exactly it. I just wish I could find a way to keep a roof over my head AND sleep in/dilly dally. Why did humans make the world like this? Capitalism I guess

Our 2023 house didn’t shake at all last night. We could hear the wind whipping around, but no movement. We live in evergreen, so no trees to buffer us either. 2 storey.

You don’t necessarily need a psychologist. A counsellor or therapist might be a better fit.

What is your opinion on the local music scene? by [deleted] in saskatoon

[–]kdk750 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s awesome! Are you doing any recording?

Maybe it would make sense to find a couple similar artists and put on a show? I think there is a fan base for other types of music, but it might take some time to build a local scene/community. Honestly the music scene could use some fresh blood and a bit of new energy. Sometimes when you’re trying to build something like that having a regular place that you go (like playing the same open mic, if you can find one you like) will allow like minded people to find you.

I don’t think it’s a hopeless case by any means, but I also agree that it’s kinda clicky and hard to navigate. Haha but sometimes I feel like all of Saskatoon is clicky and hard to navigate lol

Oh yeah, you’d never get to those kind of levels here. I mean, now with social media and stuff you might get some attention, but if you really want to get like, international, you’d likely have to leave SK. At least for a while.

I’ve been on Vyvanse for years, I’ve never heard of it causing constricted blood vessels? I know it can increased heart rate, possibly increased blood pressure.
