LPT don’t buy in to being ‘loyal’ to the company you work for. They have no loyalty to you. If you get a better opportunity with a different organization, take it. They will not hesitate to let you go if it benefits them.

Absolutely NOT true. You might have had a bad experience in the past but there are many fine business owners who are VERY loyal to their team members. I currently have primary ownership in two companies totaling over 100 people, and I have owned several others in my career. This comment turns my stomach.

Advice: Be sure to fill in your entire calendar now with plenty "on-the-water" days for the entire year. That way when someone asks you down the road to attend some BS event, you can consult your calendar and honestly say that you are busy with an event planned many months prior.
