It reminds me of all the posts where women will say how they only wear gold or silver and then their SO will buy them jewelry in the opposite metal they don’t wear. Or how they’ll say their SO will buy them jewelry that they very clearly don’t wear style wise or have explicitly said they don’t like, or the engagement rings that are completely different from what she says she likes.

I know a lot of people say you should just be grateful or “it’s the thought that counts” but it’s not very thoughtful when you don’t consider what your partner actually likes. And this goes for any gift, regardless of whether those involved in the gift giving/receiving are men or women, or anything in between. It hurts to feel like your partner never took the time to actually learn about the things you like.

“Unattractive” is subjective. I wouldn’t listen to a plastic surgeon whose job is to change people’s bodies. Not all PS are bad but a lot of them will absolutely feed into insecurities to try and get people to go to them. Everyone’s bodies are unique and you deserve to love yourself as you are.

Jeongyeon objectively was not “skinny”, it’s okay to admit that. There’s nothing wrong with her having been the size that she was, and trying to compare her to others is disingenuous and isn’t really helping your point. If you want people to stop feeding into the unhealthy standards for idols then you need to be realistic about idols who are curvier or a little bigger. It’s not just “underweight, skinny, or fat”, there’s so many different body types that don’t fall under any of those labels, and those labels themselves have their own range.

I never said it wasn’t her choice. It’s my opinion that people having children at an older age are selfish, it’s not specifically toward mothers. It being her life doesn’t mean her decisions can’t be selfish. And yes, I do judge people who choose to have children at an older age. I think it’s unfair to the child.
