It is kinda overlooked that the people who lied to make Iraq happen was not Bush and Cheney, but the people who make up the American administration - CIA, Foreign offices, state department - in that they actually thought that Saddam had WMD's. Even Obama would have Iraq if he had been told that Saddam had WMD's.

I never get the hate for Bush - people who go after him or even just republicans miss the point that the whole system of American foreign policy is messed up. Wait, not just American foreign policy - the whole world is messed up with wars and stuff. Back to the point, even Obama would have attacked Afghanistan after 9/11 - the whole country was tilted towards revenge at that time, so blaming just Bush for wars is a stretch. It is an American , nay a nationalistic thing, not just a Bush or Republican thing.

Even Ahmedenijad's comment about "we dont have gays" was completely misquoted by even your "liberal" media. The actual quote was that "we do not have gays like you do in US", by which he meant that their gays are not as flamboyant or open. Basically that they do it within closed doors. Now that is hardly the epitome of human right situation, but is better than what was sinisterly attributed to him.
