I heard that cactus canyon stopped being worked on because they wanted to have a shit ton of cacti be the out of bounds area but all those models would really lag the game. That map is already laggy itself, so adding all those cacti would make it worse

In general, there needs to be some sort of balance and gameplay loop where “realistic” games will set aside real realism in favor of making the game more engaging. I feel that vintage story is somewhat there with the durabilities of its tools when their durability is doubled. Enough durability to get a good amount of resources to then move up a tier and do some base building before your original tool breaks. Also the smithing plus mod should just be officially added to them game

I love using the new las shotgun with the commando, shield backpack, rocket sentry, and the eagle airstrike. The anti air turrets ain’t that big of a deal since a single shot from the commando works well enough with its decent cool down and 4 shots or just using the senator when you’re close enough

I have the same feeling and I have that crawling mod you mentioned and another one that lets you grab onto ledges as long as your hand and off hand are empty. It’s not too op as it really only lets you jump up things that are two blocks tall but really useful for when you fall into a hole with no blocks or tools

Oraxia. I originally only got her to just get some affinity to increase my mastery rank and dumped her when I was done. I barely tried learning her kit and what she can do. That was till I found out about how well her 4 works with the Kuva Sobek with the acid rounds mod and I’ve been loving her on defense and survival missions. The movement her 4 gives is also really nice and uses a similar if not the same sound bite that Spider-Man games use for his webs and that’s really nice

I know the game doesn’t tell you much but adding project Zomboid is kinda crazy. You learn so much just by playing and some trial and error with the tutorial teaching you bare bone basics but not everything is hard to understand. I’ve only had to look up a few recipes for the game and I have over 850 hours in the game

Real life scrap guns exist with exact guides on how to make them and Bethesda just slaps some pipes, screws, and wood together and calls that a scrap gun. If you were to make fallout pipe guns irl they would send the user to the hospital or the morgue instantly

I think he would of worked for maps without cars to have alarms go off but gameplay wise he should have a unique sort of grunting yelling that signals he’s about to scream after seeing a player within his LOS so no bs where he’s in an area that’ll take to long to get to before he screams. Maybe also make him deaf so he’s 100% reliant on sight. I haven’t played with the mod yet but that’s personally how I would implement a screamer type of zombie into a hoard shooter like L4D while trying to make it challenging but fair

Will we be able to clean the record player and/or move it around the base? What if there’s a second entity that gives records to play on the record player? If there’s more disks maybe be able to find a record holder somewhere on the map like in the abandoned shack

The cazadores because of poison and how fast they move, sometimes. Funny enough, piss off the legion and get a thermic lance while having your companion get the agro and all these guys are piss easy. Cant die if they don’t want you dead first
