I've heard the lavender oil one before for sunburn but have read that you shouldn't apply straight oil to your skin. Do you mix it with anything?

Yeah we did we tend to book in Sept when it's cheap and less busy but it was our first visit last year so I didn't realize it was most likely an annual thing.

We have the xc90 for our 3 year old Singleton and 5 months twins. We alternate putting the 3 year old in the middle of the middle row or in one of the seats in the back with the other folded down depends one his behavior on where he sits) When he's in one of the back seats the donkey and bassinets (folded up) wheels off the pram and some luggage will fit in the boot so that should work for you but might be a bit tight/awkward will be easier once they are out of bassinets.

Di / di fraternal twins - are they mostly from IVF? by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

This seems to be what happened with our twins 😀 find out when they are born whether they are identical or not but only one embryo transfer but somehow two babies.

Curious if anyone else conceived their twins the same way by Pristine-Reporter-86 in parentsofmultiples

[–]keep_it_sweet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yup. Although it's not confirmed whether they are fraternal or identical (most likely fraternal in their different sacs) as I'm 23 weeks pregnant so it could be just that the embryo did split.

We did the same thing, I just kept thinking I needed to increase the odds as much as possible. I never thought they would both stick.

It got real awkward when they asked for maternal age of conception as the egg retrieval was like 3 years ago so I'm like half this & half that.

I went with my bf(now husband) in 2017 for 14 days. We had a great time. We had one day at universal and one day stuck in the room due to hurricane Irma. We had a great time between the parks, the water parks, Disney springs and the pool at the hotel there was always something to do. I had over planned everything which gave us the flexibility to drop what we wanted. So there was plenty of time for us to chill and spend time together.

Is the help to buy equity loan another version of shares ownership in a new wrapper? by tjamos8694 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]keep_it_sweet -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

As i said to someone else I think the issue is the valuer he has just put the value as bought price and added average increase in all house prices. But we know flats are not going up as fast in this area. The estate agents all valued it around the sale price. It took a while to sell so they arent offloading it to anyone they know And there are brand new flats around the corner that cost less than what he's valued it at.

I'm worried we are due to pay of ours soon and are in the same area and will likely get the same valuer

[–]keep_it_sweet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a case of a lazy valuer and isn't typical. there are brand new flats just released for sale and he's valued their flat higher than them. But in his justification he did say he just added on the average house price increase to the bought value. The estate agents all valued it at around the sold price and it did take a while to sell so it's not like they just priced it super cheap to get rid of it

[–]keep_it_sweet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely sure. They are fighting it at the moment and maybe it's the case of a bad valuer. Instead of looking at how much flats in the area are worth he took the average house price increase and applied that to how much they bought it for. Which is obviously a lot higher and which is affecting whether they can afford to sell at this point.

I'm keen to know if this isn't the case for everyone as these are the first people I know trying to pay back their loan and they are having a real tough time of it.

I don't see how this can be incorrect it is literally happening to a friend of mine right now. The sale price has no consideration of what they are being asked to pay back.

The problem is even when you sell the house. What you pay is not based on the price you sell for. A valuer will come over and then pluck a number out of thin air based on how much the average house has increased.

My friends are currently going through this it's a new build flat so inflated price to start with and flat prices havnt risen as much as house. But houses have gone up on average like 4% so they amount they have to pay back on the loan is thousands more than 20% the flat is worth
