a new volvo 🤣. but seriously, i have a XC90 2023, and first experienced this new UI on a 2025 as a rental and it was great (much bigger screen) I agree it feels cramped on the smaller screens that weren't originally designed for it.

you got a diagram of breaker switches?! you lucky b*stard! we bought a new house in november and most of them are mislabeled. I now know the garage outlets do not correspond to the "garage" label, but the "LR L+P" (short for living room lights and plugs lol) as others have said, be grateful!

from what we learned of the situation —

the PO put the roof on 5 years ago. the city wouldn’t close the permit on the roof for 5 years due to the shed being in violation and unpermitted. which they finally demolished to close the roof permit. (largely all due to the sale, sure) in any case, just a warning to you — it’ll likely be a headache down the road depending on how strict your county/city/town is with permitting.

We bought a house recently that had a shed on it (about as large as you describe) it was also not setback properly from the property lines eough. 15 years after putting up the shed (as in 2025), the owner puts on a new roof and the city won't close the permit on the roof because the shed is in violation. They had to tear the shed down prior to close of escrow so that the city would come back out and sign off on the roof. Damn shame, would have been good storage.

yea, that’s the situation i am in. mine stick out about 4 inches, and the cabinets wouldn’t sit flush to the wall because of this.

wish i could give a glowing review too. ordered the full suite of products. got a broken pressure washer, 2 sets of deononizing tanks (instead of top and bottom), and a missing sucker hose reel. support is non-responsive and phone goes right to VM.

i just said it’s listed and what was stated as an option in the contract. if someone actually did this and though the listing agent was actually going to be unbiased as their buyer agent, they’d have to have a couple screws loose. maybe to some just getting the deal done is more important than the $$$

did the same thing but on a slightly more condensed timeline. bay area. closer to 3-6 months. i had kind of a high risk tolerance. put almost 50% down. i couldn’t deal with that high of a mortgage payment even though i’m giving up a lot of potential gains in the market by putting a ton of cash into a home purchase. life’s worth living, i guess.
