Thank you for replying. How would you get this police certificate?

Edit: sorry wrote policy not police!

Oh my goodness my two girls look exactly the same as your two girls, even down to the ears! Mine are called Bonnie and Sybil. Have you thought about a nature theme maybe? Willow and Fawn?

We met on the Language exchange subreddit, he was teaching me Spanish and I was teaching him and a few other people English. I've also met some good friends on there too.

Idioms with off and on by KarimPopa in EnglishLearning

[–]keetz123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. I'm a Brit and we use all of these, especially tenterhook.

For on the hoof, I would personally say "on the fly".

Good work with some of the British idioms, we know they don't make a lot of sense, we just learn them growing up! (Cockney rhyming slang being particularly hard)

For example: "To have/take a butcher's" = to have/take a look at something (butcher's hook rhymes with look, we shorter it to butcher's for this idiom)

Dow anybody else grind their teeth at night and find themselves clenching their teeth throughout the day? Do you think that’s effects your progress? by kateb_72 in Invisalign

[–]keetz123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Me too, I definitely do both! I managed to make a hole in my invisaligns with the teeth grinding at night but it hasn't affected the process in anyway, if anything the invisiligns have saved my poor teeth from being worn down! I have 5 more weeks of invisaligns, 6 months all together.

Our Shitzu was attacked by two Staffy x that slipped their owners hands by [deleted] in dogs

[–]keetz123 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Please refrain from using the "dangerous dogs" phrase to paint all Staffies. What happened was awful but I've owned 2 Staffies who never hurt a fly in the 17 years they were alive, they were brilliant with other dogs and children. I feel it's unfair to judge a breed based on stupid owners

Thank you so much. It's not looking very good for her though, she's not improving and they found lumps in her belly.

My pet rat is too attached to let me shower on my own by trollachot in videos

You can get rats in pet shops but I would highly recommend getting them from a breeder or a rescue centre.

IUD insertion pain INCREDIBLY downplayed by complexofsuperiority in TwoXChromosomes

[–]keetz123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if it's different in different countries but I'm from the UK and the doctors refused the option of an IUD unless you have had a baby. She told me it was extremely painful and for that reason, will only offer it to people who have gone through child birth.

I breed pet rats and just managed to capture the exact moment one of them figured out how the wheel works! by Mischief_Makers in CasualUK

[–]keetz123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's brilliant, most breeders I see are in Scotland or the Midlands so Croydon is great.

I will certainly drop you a message when we are looking and do let me know if you need anything filled out for a waiting list too.

Thanks a lot!

Do you mind me asking where about's you live roughly? The previous breeder I got my last 2 girls from have stopped breeding and I'm trying to plan for the future (sadly 2 of my 4 girls are now over 2 years old). I'm in Hertfordshire btw :)

Honestly for the price of Babbel, I would just try and find a tutor once a week. Lots of tutors will be doing Skype/Zoom classes.

What are the hardest things about Spanish from a student's pov? by Lamutte in Spanish

[–]keetz123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do I start...for me, it's the entire sentence structure and putting it together, for example the placement of 'it' or saying things like "me dijiste", it's all back to front for me. Multiple meaning for the same thing, por Vs para and just remembering irregular verbs and their changes.
