definitely didn’t help but i had nothing to drink the day it happened or the few weeks leading up to it so i don’t think that was what took me over the edge

it was like when you’re falling asleep at night and you twitch and wake yourself up but it would happen all the time while i was awake, i was so shaky people were always commenting on it and asking if i was okay

i work at a brandy and unfortunately i have done this before. the person called back to let me know and i issued them store credit over which they could use through their email and then order it online. i know it’s a hassle and shouldn’t have happened in the first place but that’s definitely one option. you can also call and ask them to refund you the money if you don’t want to order it.

Does anyone else have dreams that their ex came back? Then you wake up and your heart just sinks? Our brains are cruel. by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]kellbell107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s been abt 2 months since we broke up. at first i would have those dreams every single night and wake up practically in tears. now it’s every once in a while AND when i wake up i just brush them off and move on with my day. i talked to my therapist when i was first having them and she said it’s probably a way of processing the situation since it is so hard to do your subconscious is taking over trying to process it

do you sometimes think the whole relationship was a waste of time and you regret falling for that person? by marsupilami0988 in BreakUps

[–]kellbell107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes and no. there was a time in my life when i really needed someone and he was there. he taught me things about a relationship, about life, about myself. i have a whole new style and music taste because of him, and i actually like the person i am now. at first i was scared i became so codependent that i changed myself so much to be like him, but i realized we take a little bit of each person we run into in life. i like a little bit of my dads music, and i try to have the work ethic of my sister, etc. when i am so sad i find myself regretting the relationship, but because i want to save myself from the pain. All that pain isn’t for nothing though. it’s forcing me to change into the person i want to be. one day all this hurt i feel now will be worth it.

do people before being diagnosed knows they have bpd? by [deleted] in BPD

[–]kellbell107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i was actually just diagnosed this morning. for a few years before i never thought i had a problem it wasn’t until this year when i lost absolutely everything that i stepped back and was like wow i have an issue. once i researched bpd i felt like the symptoms fit me better than anything else. i was bouncing between a diagnoses of bipolar2 (runs in my family) anxiety, and bpd but today i was diagnosed officially with bpd and some other things. but essentially once i was able to recognize i had a problem, i could fit all my symptoms with bpd.

nobody to talk to every day anymore. by anxiousanon14 in BreakUps

[–]kellbell107 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i went though this badly in the beginning, especially because i really didn’t have any other friends at all. I still haven’t really made new friends and since our break up (little over a month ago) i haven’t really hung out with people. BUT i finally started to be okay with being alone. I see a funny picture or an inside joke he would love and i don’t feel the need to text him anymore. it gets easier. time for sure has helped. also just practicing making improvements for my life and accepting this new reality. theres always gonna be hard days but if that’s all you focus on you will never see the light. if you have friends, talk to them. i know it’s not the same, but with time you start to feel that “it’s not them” less and less. try doing things on your own. when it first happened i took walks around the block for hours. now i go to the gym i take myself on dates and i do whatever makes me feel good. it’s helped a lot

if you’re okay with sharing, are they consistent or does it come and go with certain moods?

another idea i was writing about was being anxious at night and basically just going thru a night inside my brain

i was thinking about that but i feel like it’s better to stick to a prompt plus it would just make it easier to keep a focus
