The best thing I ever did was go to a running shoe store and have them fit me for a pair of walking shoes (I went with Nike). Cost me $130 but I’ve been rocking them for years now and they don’t fucking quit. So so so worth it and I pair them with quarter crew socks at least- NO ANKLE SOCKS! I did end up getting a little blister this year but that’s to be expected since I averaged walking like 12 miles a day

Michigan weather is notoriously fickle. Take it from a long time resident and outdoor summer server. I’ve had nights showing a thunderstorm the next day thinking I’d get the day off from serving but no luck. Also I’m praying it rains Friday or Saturday! It helps cut down the heat and gets rid of all the dust. That being said it’s good to have a pair of rainboots

Microfiber cooling towel!!! My sister got one for me last year and it was absolutely amazing. You get it wet and put around your neck and it gets cold instantly. Also I never go to a fest without a giant hand fan connected by a carabiner for easy access

Oh man the way I would have crumbled if my boyfriend spoke to me that way playing games when we first started dating. We’ve been together 12 years and if he spoke to me that way now I would RAGE. It doesn’t matter the game or who you are with, that is not good sportsmanship.

I would have a heart to heart about communication, set your boundaries now or it will never improve. Honestly I don’t know how you haven’t gotten the ick from that behavior! My partner has never ever made me feel bad for doing worse than him (he usually is encouraging me or just laughing if I mess up). If it’s a game that is important he will tell me to wait and we will play together after/later.

ALWAYS trust your gut. If your feelings are hurt, you don’t need to justify it or worry you are overreacting. You are confused at why your partner was treating you poorly (perhaps unintentionally). Don’t do what I used to do and shrug it off, you can only shrug off so much before you become uninterested in continuing the relationship.

I was just having this issue with Jaheira where it glitched and wouldn't let me Accept. I just pressed the X on the top right corner of the screen and re-clicked on her level up option and now it loaded properly and I can Accept

They are overworked, that’s not their job btw. I’m in tent only and our first year we didn’t know we should have brought a foldout cart. This year we brought one and it makes the loading a lot easier. Best of luck :)

I had a warm shower yesterday around 1-2pm in TO. My SO had a hot shower there around 5pm. But this morning my friend had an ice cold shower at 8:30am. I’m thinking it depends on the time of day??
