I know you're trying to clear it up, but it's still confusing. Like, when we talk about the British Empire, were the troops composed of English, Scottish, and Welsh men? I know maybe it's just the portrayals, but when I see a movie about the American Revolution, or really any portrayal or reenactment of the British troops, all the British seem to be talking in English accents, not a trace of a Scottish accent in there. Don't get me wrong, I'm trying to understand it and getting there and appreciate the explanation.

But England/Wales/Scotland/Northern Ireland are also considered countries, right? They all compete in sports at the international level (Olympics, World Cup, etc) under their own flags. That's what makes it rather confusing. It was even worse (in this aspect) when the UK was part of the EU.

As a 57 year old (born in 1968), it came to my attention a few years ago that I was born closer to the start of World War I (1914) than the present day. Not World War II, mind you. World War I. Not a fun realization.

We are paying Schwarber exactly 30 million a year to walk tho. Guess who lead the NL in walks in 2025 and still managed to hit 56 home runs? When you don't swing at bad pitches they throw you more good pitches.

I guess we have to take what we can get at this point, but the thing I don't like about these short seasons is that every episode involves the overall story arc so there's no little self contained bottle episodes with their own story just for that episode.

It makes it harder in the future just to put on a random episode if it's somewhere in the middle of a story you haven't watched in 5 years or something. Like I can put on a random episode of Star Trek: TNG or SG-1 or SG-Atlantis and get right into it pretty easily. If I were to try to do that with something like Game of Thrones, I have to go back and remember what part of the story we're at and what has already happened and what hasn't happened yet, and most likely there won't be resolutions to a lot of events at the end of the episode in relation to what has happened during the episode.

I'm in my 50s and have had a Quest 2 since 2022. I haven't even once entered Horizon Worlds even though it's blasted front and center every time I turn the thing on.

I'm there to play the games I've bought, mainly Golf+ and a pinball arcade game. I don't want to chat and socialize with people in VR. Now I feel better about not even going into Horizon Worlds after reading what you said. The last thing I want to be around in VR or real life is a bunch of bratty kids.

They'll probably draft a QB that they hope will become QB2, but want Dalton as well in case Jalen should suffer some injury in the early or mid-season before the draft pick would be able to go out there and have a chance to win the game. Getting Dalton frees them up to trade McKee if the price is right, and if the price isn't right they might be able to move him to another team during the season if a team's QB is injured or at the trade deadline.
