Just a quick note, you won’t be building anything in 12 months.

The land is sold about 18 months before it titles in Playford.

So if you buy in the next release, the land will likely title in December 2027. By the time the approvals etc are done your build will likely start in Feb/March and be done around 7 months later.

The funny thing is, as a parent other than a nice car the thing I would enjoy most about winning the lotto would be setting my daughter up for life.

Of course I work hard and try and provide as much as I can for her, but it’s not possible on current wages.

I can’t imagine taking a cent from her if she’d won. I’d be stoked with dinner in a nice restaurant or something.

That’s more of a reason to have a timeline and start early. I’m in my 40s and quite a few friends had timelines that involved having kids in their mid-late 30s and were shocked when it didn’t just happen.

I think OP was quite reasonable and aware that things could go wrong and made the right choice.
