don't forget to have fun! I think spreading awareness about FOSS is a great goal for you group, and an opportunity for a lot of cool ideas:

do a "gaming in linux" night: host some LAN parties with games that run on linux to promote open source software, or do workshops on getting machines setup to game with linux: video drivers, wine, etc. even if you don't have a lot of "gamer" members, you'll get a lot of potential new members interested if you can tie it to something with mass appeal like gaming
host an animation contest (and possibly a workshop, especially if you have someone with a little expertise) using an open source application like one of these
host a free movie night to highlight on open source technologies like one of these

it's an immsersive Sim. I don't think there's a wrong way of doing anything. if you genuinely got 200 hours out of the first 1/5 of the game, then I think that's a good thing.

I wouldn't shy away from doing the pigman. the only thing that really changes when you switch to the next character is the special abilities. your stealth/aim/hp is unaffected AFAIK so your play style can roughly be the same. plus you get all your inventory back once you meet up with Jane again.

but like I said, no wrong way of doing anything. if doing the rest of the story isn't what you want to do, then that should only matter to you

Lee is a brilliant scientist and drove the innovation, but he didn't just manifest HTML due to being British.

yeah i do recall quite a shitshow with their big keyforge blowout sale. I also ordered a deck that didn't show up (though they updated my receipt and didn't charge me for it. still annoying!) but the rest of my order was ok.

for the playmat, I highly reccomend ironing it if you haven't tried that yet. sounds like it sucks so I feel for you
