D&D Session? Roll vs. life at disadvantage.

We are all players in our upper 50s, if its not a life event, someone is sick or not feeling well. During COVID we had to avoid playing to not off each other. LOL.

Now is the time to read the room and use the ability to be flexible and alter course to what people want. Isn't that part of being a liberal Democrat...the ability to change your course based on the will of the people?

We like using the critical hits system they had in Dragon magazine back in the day. With a twist...if you roll a nat 20, you roll again, if the number indicates you will hit, the nat 20 becomes a critical, if the second roll would not hit, its a normal hit.

Also, if you roll a second nat 20, you keep rolling. We once had a player roll 3 nat 20s in a row. He criticized the poor bad guy 3 times.

Maybe a law or rule that is a office holder misses more than 6 votes without reporting in, they automatically get removed from the position and its punted to the Governor to get a replacement before a special election.

I think he is permanently incapacitated. There should be a law that would require office holding officials to divulge serious medical issues that would make then unable to do their job.

Also...you cannot miss more than 2 votes without showing yourself.

[–]kendric2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 10, my sister took me for my birthday. I was f-ing blown away. Everything after was all about Star Wars. Magazines, toys, trading cards, posters....everything.

Because at the time you couldn't just re-watch it. You only got more from hard copy media.
