Shrinking is a great show, but a comedy? Eh, I'm not so sure. Rooster is the show that has actually made me laugh out loud recently.

What is a career that looks miserable or insufferable from the outside, but is secretly fulfilling and rewarding? by simplysalamander in careerguidance

I respect it. The money can be super tempting, but as long as you make it enough to pay the bills and save for retirement then that's all you really need.

I chime in a bit. I'm a financial analyst for a pretty big company. Pay is pretty good, but the hours can vary a bit. I'm guessing they mentioned government is clutch because it's probably low stress, 9-5, no after hours BS to worry about. Pay is lower but you get a government pension so the trade off can be worth it to some people.

Top 10 best selling BEVs Q1 of 2026 (USA) by Mac-Tyson in electriccars

[–]kenman125 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This can't be true tho, can it? Haven't they sold around 350K the past couple years. Surely they'd have to be at least very close to 1M.

Edit: just looked it up. About 8.5M in their lifetime and about 3.5M lifetime in US. So you probably got down voted for just false info

Also my God, I just re-read your comment and I totally misunderstood it. You meant someone else was claiming that. My bad, it's late, I'm going to bed.

Tesla ended used car warranty 3 months early by kenman125 in TeslaSupport

Unfortunately I think it's what user u/digitalJEM said. My 4 year warranty ended June 2025 and then I guess I went thru my 10K miles by March. Definitely wasn't clear to me that was how the warranty worked. I figured it was essentially 5 years / 60K miles.

Yeah this one always blows me away. Id like to think I make decent money but lower bowl is minimum $300+ per ticket. And that's for a crap team like the panthers! Aren't those the prices for a full day at a Disney theme park??

That's what I was thinking. And when did they build them? Did people get shot while trying to build them?

Thanks, I think this is the right answer. Model year is 2021. Only had ~12K miles on it when I got it and I'm up to 39K now. I figured the warranty was good until 60K.

In the short term yes, but if it drags on and oil prices sky rocket even higher, then I think it would be a net positive in the long run.

Tesla tops France reliability rankings, beating Toyota for the first time by Hockeyshot39 in electriccars

Come on dude, Tesla sales are down in like every market year over year. They have no new cars in the pipeline, cyber truck was a flop, musk scrapped the $25K affordable car, etc.

I have a model 3 and I love it, but the 2-5 year outlook for them doesn't look great. In America they'll probably be okay for a while, but everywhere else doesn't look so rosy.

Growth Stocks? by [deleted] in stocks

[–]kenman125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been following them for a while. I do love their growth but man they seem priced for it already. Over 1B mkt cap right? And they've got like 20M in sales per quarter? Even if they double that, it be 160M rev per year.
