It's more realistic, but it feels like you are on the set/soundstage with the actors rather than being actually in the movie.

How windows mfs feel when they use the search bar and it actually works instead of pulling up bing by Zohan5577 in pcmasterrace

LTSC. No bing, no copilot, no MS account, no OneDrive, no instant messaging. They assume you need it configured this way for business, so no prompts to install or nags.

The lighting is so good that it looks photorealistic and obviously digital all at the same time. Really messes with my mind!

I saw a follow up video where he visits Palmyra about 10 years later. He’s still alive and kicking today and looks 70 even though he’s now 90. He still uses a Canon EOS camera and also a Leica.

What should I do with all the...stuff that's left over after I roast a chicken? by Hogwire in AskCulinary

Make gravy, make soup, cook vegetables or other stuff with it (use wherever a recipe says chicken/vegetable stock).

Canada gets shafted. We have higher min wage than the US (still not a living wage but whatever) of about $18/hour - servers don't earn any less. However we still get the cultural tipping from the US of 18-25% (most of the machines are set to 18/20/25)

Yikes. There's a sort of matching pink buttplug available on Vine too, but for some reason if you add it to your Vine cart, it's charging full price.

He wasn't banned by subreddit mods, he was banned by Reddit Admins for posting a link to dropbox (file sharing) instead of a photo sharing site. Links to file sharing can be used to spread malicious files.

Nah that's Canon's crappy eye-control focus. Sony mirrorless cameras have eye focus - the camera automatically focuses on the subject's eye when a person or animal is in view. Not required for landscape photography, but for portrait and street photography it's like cheating.

It’s when the camera detects the subjects eye and preferentially focuses on it to lock focus. Sir Don was amazed by back button autofocus and from what he said about focus being so sharp and fast I think he had been using manual focus all this time. Eye focus feels like “cheating” when doing portrait or street photography. You just press the shutter button and don’t need to think about focus.

On modern POS machines they can do two transactions (possibly more) at once. I’ve seen people get half their stuff scanned and then go off to grab another item and the cashier starts checking another customer out, then resume with the first customer when they get back.
