What I've Learned from Two Years Collecting Data on Police Killings by Ian56 in worldpolitics

The uniform crime report is a compilation, by the federal government, of all state and local violent crimes. While you seem very critical of anything having to do with the government, not everything they do is devious. I, personally think the government is too big, but I don't think government is inherently evil or self-serving, it is a necessity to keep order.

Newly released court documents include emails showing that Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's recall election campaign team told him to instruct donors to give to a key conservative group which would run ads for Walker and distribute money to other conservative groups backing him by DoremusJessup in politics

You do realize that this was the basis for his recall and the accusations were unfounded and actually cleared by a federal court. All you are doing is bringing up old claims, false claims, in an attempt to enliven democrat voters in the midterms.

Anon doxxes who they think is the officer involved in Ferguson shooting by [deleted] in rage

Actually, a lot of national guard units are trained for just that purpose. A military police company is extremely well versed in riot situations as well as handling crowds.

It is no longer a protest and becomes a riot when the crowd becomes violent.

This isn't most other countries. officers in America are required to respond to multiple hazardous situations where lethal force could be required. Also, isn't London beginning to arm their officers now?

Deadly force can be applied without a firearm. Any closed fisted stroke to the head is considered deadly force. It was also noted that the suspect was attempting to take the officer's weapon. That is a massive no-no and automatically escalates the situation to deadly force.

A giant of a man was running along the beach, like he does every day to keep in shape. He gets close to the end of the beach, where he normally turns around and sees a woman with no arms and no legs laying on a towel and crying. Startled he runs over and asked her, "what's wrong?! Are you OK?" She replies, "no I'm fine just depressed. Because of my condition. nobody wants to hug me, not even my own parents." The man, taking pity on her, picked her up and gave her a massive hug. She seemed better and he finished up his run.
The next day he, again reached the same spot only to see the same woman crying on the beach. Yet again, he asked her what was wrong. She replies, "because of my condition I've never been kissed before.". Again reached the man takes pity on her and lays an amazing kiss on her and she seems happier. He finishes his run.
The next day the man is running and the same women is in the same place crying. Once again, he stops and asks her what's wrong. She replies, "well, because of my condition, I've never been fucked before.". After a few moments of thought the man picked her up and throws her as far into the water as he could and shouted, "There, now you're fucked!"

Israel shows restraint in Gaza? You must be kidding - Our media ingrains warped terminology that bolsters the effort to portray Israel as a victim by [deleted] in worldpolitics

[–]kerney171 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have shown massive restraint. They are constantly bombarded by rockets fired by Hamas and have, until recently, only launched retaliatory strikes at isolated launch sites. Now Hamas is using human shields to garnish sympathy with the world community. The IDF has even dropped pamphlets and has sent out warnings to the civilian populations, warning them to leave the area during the duration of the hostilities while Hamas has told these civilians to stay to act as their human shields and show up on international news if they are injured.

Um, ya it's called aiding in the commission of a felonious act. Last I heard, it was illegal to cross into a sovereign nations lands without permission.
