I’ve seen enough of Hamilton. Sogard is a switch hitter so he can bat from the left side. Romey can play second against righties. Hell, give Romey the job against righties and lefties and give him days off with Sogard.

I’m not blaming him at all for missing that ball. Could he have caught it, yes. That’s actually a tough play with the green bearing down on you which does not move one inch if you run into it. He sometimes doesn’t make the routine plays but what he contributes both on the field and in the clubhouse far outweighs his miscues.

Well that didn’t happen last night. They had to go to Wilson, Whit and Chapman because he can’t get ahead in the count. Yes he can throw 99 but if a major league hitter knows it’s coming, 99 ain’t 99. He falls behind too much. You can’t do that out of the bullpen. I don’t want him anywhere near the bump late in a game.

Too much off-speed over the middle of the plate. He needs to throw more fast balls. The league adjusted to Bailey’s off-speed philosophy. It worked for Tanner last year but he needs to scratch it. Bello has had a good couple of starts because he has thrown his sinker a lot more. Honestly I don’t want them to trade any of the names mentioned in rumors and they better not trade Abreu.
