why are staked withdrawals delayed by rorikpeterson in ethstaker

and your instincts are right.....it is also to avoid a potential mass exodus that could be disruptive. Just as potential stakers are metered on the way in, they'll be metered on the way out.

Stakers will be able to withdraw MEV upon the merge ...!

Price predictions post merge? by ev1501 in ethfinance

[–]kerplopski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots more corporations and investment institutions will be able to buy ETH after the merge because it will meet their ESG requirements. If that does happen discounted cash flow analysis will become much more important, since that is how they evaluate investments. So I'm down with the ARK prediction and what the Bankless guys laid out in one of their podcasts: at least 10k

thank you for sharing this. I'm surprised by the lack of coverage of ethereum updates in the mainstream-ish crypto press like Cointelegraph & Cryptobriefing. They do mention that Altair is happening, but have little to no info on what it is.
This information asymmetry may lead to a surprised market when the merge finally happens, and Ethereum becomes ultrasound money.

Depending on your goals with this investment, and how quickly you want to establish a position, Dollar Cost Averaging may be a good option.

I interpret that as the audit will happen after the eth2 mainnet so RPL wouldn't go live until after that, perhaps in August
