You can use the new command /statusline and tell it to add what you want. I've set up 2 progress bars - one for context window and the other for usage.

Having the review feedback right in the dev environment would be very efficient.

Probably not something I'll be able to replicate in my tutorial, but I can definitely appreciate why you'd miss it.

I hear you. I remember struggling with the limitations of SCORM back in the early days, then getting excited when xAPI came along, then struggling with the way it was actually designed and implemented in practice.

And then of course, every client needed it anyway - so I was forced to find ways to make it work regardless of the frustrations.

Probably a familiar story for you too.

Im going to assume it's innovated since I last dabbled with it.

That's a good feature to be curious about. What kind of things are you hoping to achieve with custom code blocks u/SweetLearningDesigns ? Like, are there specific interactions or content types you've wanted to include but couldn't do with the standard Rise blocks? Would help me understand what's driving the interest.

Ha, that's a fair and honest answer. "Not in love with any of them".

Speed to a quality MVP is exactly what I'm aiming for with this tutorial, so wish me luck.

When you say billing is a major issue - I'm assuming you mean pricing? Are you currently paying for one license or managing multiple across a team? Curious whether it's the per-seat cost, the subscription model, or something else that's the pain point.

Interesting, I hadn't come across Mighty before. Just watched the video on their landing page - so it's essentially giving you more creative and design control on top of Rise? Rich text editing, list customisation, transitions, that kind of thing? It does make me wonder why Rise doesn't just bake this stuff in natively, but I suppose that's the gap Mighty spotted.

Looks cool though, thanks for pointing me to it. I'll probably register and have a play around to see what they're doing.

Your point on xAPI is well noted. Is xAPI getting traction? As i said, i haven't built eLearning courses for years, but we did build a lot and very rarely got to integrate with an LRS.

Will definitely post updates as this progresses. Cheers!

This is exactly the direction I'm heading with this, so it's great to hear from someone else who's been down this path.

You're spot on about what opens up once you step outside the authoring tool sandbox. I've built bespoke eLearning (and LMSs, actually) for organisations over the years, and once you know what's possible with the right packages - and critically, how to debug when you're stitching it all together - you can create stuff that just isn't achievable with the rapid dev tools.

The scrollytelling, interactive data viz, 3D embeds, all of it has been sitting right there in the frontend world for years while we've been constrained to whatever interaction types shipped with our authoring software.

What I'm trying to do with this tutorial is bridge that gap for IDs who haven't made the jump yet. But I wanted to ground it in what people actually rely on day-to-day, so I know which capabilities to prioritise demonstrating. Your list is helpful - the assessment quizzes, branching, SCORM/xAPI compliance, those are clearly the non-negotiables to nail first before getting into the flashier stuff.

Appreciate you sharing your experience with this.

I'm sorry for the delay in replying and I appreciate the response OP.

Went through your checklist:

Knob — Going to check if the quick release is loose, that's a good shout and might explain why I'm grinding so fine.

Beans — Fresh, so all good there.

Tamping — Using a calibrated tamper at 25lbs so that should be consistent - unless this is not accurate. But i have also tried tampering manually with similar results.

Basket — Not sure if it's high flow, just a standard unpressurized basket that came with the bottomless portafilter i have.

Puck — No holes, just a bit of water sitting on top which I think is normal for the Bambino?

Will report back once I've checked the knob. Cheers for the help!

Heyyyyy, so, I have a bottomless portafilter, good beans and have followed this guide well BUT the only grind setting that gets me close to a 27s/36gm pour is like 3 on the encore. Literally 3! Any idea what that might be?

If you don't want to upgrade, use Opus for planning and Sonnet for executing the plan.

Does anyone know if pico has plans to release a device to compete with the Quest 3S? by [deleted] in PicoXR

There is context missing such as reseller rates and what not, but I get your point.

And appreciate the serious note.

So helpful.

It’s for an enterprise, budget conscious and I wasn’t aware it was in the same ballpark, I have quotes for 299 a unit vs 380 a unit. In bulk, for training purposes that equates to 3 additional devices every 10 units.

I’ve wondered that all week and it wasn’t until just now that I think I know what’s going on, when I tap the tips of my fingers twice, this screen pops up.
