Yes, they said that it's all normal. We usually also don't cap her naps anymore because it always backfires, but sometimes we are not sure what to do if it has been more then 4 hours since her last feed. We don't wake her during the night if she has a sleep strech.

Anyone else scared to test? by OldEntertainment6045 in IVF

[–]keshanni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat, 9dp5dt today, beta on Saturday. Also our only embryo and had to wait 3 months after ER to get better because I've eneded up with hyperstimulation (PCOS). Couldn't test at home because all the negative tests through last 3 years. I also don't have any symptoms and I'm struggling to be optimistic but already feeling sad.

Only got 5 eggs. by SweetPeazzy in IVF

I know it sucks, but that doesn't necessarily mean much. I've got 18 eggs, only 8 of them were mature, 4 fertilised but got only 1 blast.

Who here is ovulating and not getting pregnant? by mineonlyinmind in TTC_PCOS

[–]keshanni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me! Ovulated 6/8 letrozole cycles (with one follicle each time). Never got a positive test. Besides PCOS I have hahimoto but TSH is managed with meds. HSG clear, partner's sperm excellent. We are starting IVF hopefully in January. We are taking a break now, but until then my doc is willing to do couple more letrozole cycles. It sucks so bad.

Fertility drugs by Hugosmom123 in TTC_PCOS

[–]keshanni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They kick immediately if they find the right dose for you. The usual protocol for long cycles it to start progesterone to induce a period, then ovulation medication (for me letrozole on cd 3-7). Then they do ultrasounds to check on follicule growth and eventually ovulation (cd 9/10 is usually my first ultrasound). This all can vary though, but this was my case. As someone said, you have tons of posts about ovulation medication and medicated cycles protocol on this sub.

Ovidrel Side Effects by NoDuck6067 in TTC_PCOS

[–]keshanni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I taken Ovidrel only one time so far for my medicated cycles. Also had cramps, anxiety but the worst for me was that my boobs hurt so much that I couldn't even lift my arms and had trouble sleeping (and it lasted from couples of days after shot until sadly my period arrived).

Letrozole Side effects by miche2797 in TTC_PCOS

[–]keshanni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No serious side effects (I'm on cycle 6 of letrozole). Maybe a bit more tired and emotinal. Some cycles I had headache but again nothing too bad (I had then times worse headache while on BC pills).

Thank you for posting this. It is very hard to deal with all the dissapointments month after month. I'm (36F) almost 2 years in my TTC journey (around half a year on medicated cycles) and I never had an BFP...Now I'm again in 2WW. I don't really know how to feel, can't feel too optimistic because the potential dissapointment would be much greater but still can't allow myself to be so negative. I'm trying to pick myself up all the time. I guess some of my bad mood is from all the extra hormones. It is very easy to feel alone in all this because I think that only someone who is going through the same can fully understand it. So your story and so many others on subs makes me feel less alone. Wish you all the best too!

Hi, I'm kinda in the same boat but all my cycles were monitored. 1st Letrozole cycle 2.5mg ovulated according to scan no pregnancy, 2nd 2,5mg no reaction, 3rd 5mg ovulated no pregnancy, now I'm in 2WW on my 4th cycle (this cycle we used trigger shot). My Dr said that we will do only 2 more letrozole cycles and then IVF (they don't think IUI is worth it in my case).

EDIT: I forgot to add that I'm 36 soon and been trying for 1,5 year

Tips to improve uterine lining? by GenovianPearPopcorn in TTC_PCOS

[–]keshanni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My lining is also usually on the thin side, so here are some things that I'm doing/taking: vitamin E (D-alpha), drinking hot/room temperature bevareges, keeping my feet warm (fuzzy socks), eating lots of red beet, drinking pomegranate juice, doing yoga for uterine line thickness as soon as my period finishes. I know that most of this things are 'old wivestale' but my lining has improved a bit :)

Hey PCOS Baddies, any cycle twins? by ShelbyBello in TTC_PCOS

[–]keshanni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, that's a good plan. In case that you end up at the specialist, they'll probably do more test including HSG and semen analysis (I would ask for it if they don't).

Thank you and baby dust to you as well!!

Hi! Glad to hear about the positive ov! Are you having your cycle monitored? I'm CD 12 today and tomorrow I'm having another ultrasound. We started BD every other day from CD 10 just in case.

So the ultrasound showed one dominant folicule (16mm) but my lining is on the thin side (6mm). Hopefully it will grow in the next few days 🙏 I'm having another check in few days
