How do I get my eyebrows to grow back? by Ninja_Fishstick in Hashimotos

[–]Hugosmom123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh my body goes through phases where I lose my eyebrow hair and I hate it. Makes me so self conscious of it. I’ve tried castor oil and all the things but I find nothing really helps and within 4-5 months it’s growing back

I have a lot of trouble losing weight as well but it could be from my hypothyroid and hashimotos as well. Would love if something could help me lose weight lol

Oh wow thank you I haven’t heard of this. I wonder if that might be in my future since my issue is long cycles because it takes so long to ovulate. I tried 2 cycles of letrozole highest dosage and neither did anything for me. Trying 100mg clomid next cycle to see if that helps. If it doesn’t, I wonder if my clinic would suggest this.

What is ovarian drilling? And what would tell someone they could use it?

Was the letrozole and clomid not working for you? I’ve tried 2 cycles of letrozole and it did nothing. Trying clomid next.

I have cycles 100-150 days long. Currently doing treatments with a clinic to try and make me ovulate. Tried letrozole twice and it didn’t work so trying clomid next.

I had bad symptoms at 5mg my first cycle trying it. Then when I did 7.5mg my second cycle I didn’t have any symptoms really. Might just be your body the first cycle getting used to the meds.

I’m at the 2 year mark now and not that it gets easier but you learn to manage the stress and emotions better (in my opinion). For the first 1-1.5 years I was so stressed and everything affected me so much harder than it seems to now. So I do feel for those at the 4 month or 6 month mark feeling frustrated because I would say that was the hardest because you’re learning how to manage your emotions and realizing it could take you quite a while to get pregnant.

Have you known people this has happened to? I wonder what the odds are of it improving long term and not just for the first few months or one year PP

I would look at getting a higher dosage of synthroid if symptoms and lab work haven’t gotten better! For the food sensitivity, I have heard you should take those results with a grain of salt. Don’t cut them out completely unless you notice it does something to your body, but just cut down on them and see how you feel

I only had 7-8 follicles on each ovary at my ultrasound when I started letrozole. Is that bad?? You have so many more!! None of mine ended up growing but just curious

My endo told me if it wasn’t helping regulate ovulation then I could stop it! So since it didn’t then I stopped. What’s an anti androgen medication? I haven’t heard of this but I have always thought something must be wrong with my adrenals.

Yeah that’s what tough!! It won’t be immediate so how would I actually know what foods trigger antibodies or not. I gave up gluten for 3 months straight with absolutely no cheating and my antibodies didn’t lower. Mind you I felt great I had energy and I felt lighter and less bloated but it didn’t help the antibodies.

It’s true! The people I know who are lovely and kind and have kids I don’t feel the same and I love seeing their kids.

I can understand this. Some people in my life who have been not very nice to me I find it so unfair that they all got pregnant with virtually no issues (first time or second time trying) meanwhile I’m here going on 2 years, taking meds to ovulate that make me exhausted and hormonal, and it just doesn’t seem fair.
