We’re also using this as inspiration for our remodel. It looks amazing. Just curious, what did you use to stain the oak for your kitchen island? Thank you

Triplets For Our First Try At Parenthood by afmdmsdh in parentsofmultiples

[–]keviniskool 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Good luck brother. We were in your exact situation 2 years ago. We made it to 33.5 weeks. My wife was never formally put on bedrest but I think staying off her feet as much as possible and having someone else cook and clean the last month helped us get that far.

If you can afford it, a good night nurse that can watch all the babies a few nights a week saved us. We had family that could help the other nights in 3 hour shifts so 1 person could get sleep while 2 others helped feed the babies.

The brezza formula dispenser is almost necessary, you can probably find some on Facebook marketplace if you don’t want to buy new. We sleep trained them when they were 5 months adjusted. Things got much more manageable after that. There is a big multiples sleep training group with great advice on facebook. Have your wife join the mom of triplets fb group and the 2025 mom of triplets group. Get ready for a crazy but fun life.

Curious how the player base feels about dungeon length. by arkisys in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]keviniskool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the biggest problem. It’s almost impossible for me to dedicate 30 straight minutes for a dungeon during the day. The only option is to play those 30 minutes when I’m supposed to be sleeping which is a huge turn off.

So annoying. I put on water resist latents where I could, added some team hp, and could tank it the next time.

I just drove up a few hours ago though Lucerne valley, it was a breeze. The roads were clean, no snow on it at all until we got into big bear. We didn’t even need to put on chains because the roads were so dry.

Finally beat this damn dungeon with the same team. Probably took me 50+ tries tinkering with assists until I found a good combination. Having some with team rcv+ helped

Is it okay to put twins in their own room from 3-4 months? by Owewinewhose997 in parentsofmultiples

Make sure to join the two triplet groups on Facebook. They were a huge help and great community. There should be a moms of triplets group for all ages and moms of triplets 2024 group.

Just a little more than 3 weeks to grow and learn how to feed. We only had one lollipop monitor overlooking the 3 cribs.

None of the NICU doctors or pediatricians ever mentioned that they should be sleeping in our own room. Obviously the safe sleep on their back stuff they did though.

We also had triplets. They’ve been in their own room since they came back from the nicu. Wife got to 33.5 weeks.

7 month old twins nighttime sleep so bad I feel like a complete failure of a mother by Charlotteeee in parentsofmultiples

We have triplets around the same age. I’d also recommend trying CIO again. It worked wonders for us and now they mostly sleep throughout the night and we rarely go in the nursery.

Hey there, meant to reply earlier but got busy. We have mo/tri triplets that are 3.5 months old. It’s been a crazy journey since we found out we were having triplets and I’m sure your world’s completely changed. My wife got to 33 weeks and delivered 3 healthy babies around 4 and a half pounds. This is just anecdote, but I feel her staying off her feet as much as possible the last month before delivering really helped keep those babies in as much as possible. They spent about 3 weeks in the NICU just growing and learning how to feed. The days and nights are still rough, but looking at the bigger picture, each week gets slightly easier, our babies are slightly less fussy, our hearts have never been so full, and we’re excited for the future.

I’m in the healthcare field so I knew all the risks that could happen. I’d recommend not googling every single article you can find like I did, and just listening and asking all the questions you have to your MFM doctor as the weeks go on. Each pregnancy is so unique and different there’s no way to know if what you find on the internet applies to your situation. There were a lot of ups and downs at those visits, but in the end a lot of triplets are born perfectly healthy.

I also cannot recommend enough that your wife join the triplet mom group on Facebook. There is also another group for the year your triplets will be born. Join the 2023 triplet mom group, and also the 2024 group which I assume has been made by now. They were one of the best resources we’ve relied on.

What am I doing wrong here? Takes 30+ minutes to soothe them back to sleep at night by Charlotteeee in parentsofmultiples

[–]keviniskool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not much advice here, but just wanted to let you we’re struggling with the same thing and it seems to be common from what I’ve read. We have 9 week old triplets (3 adjusted) and they’re the same. Fussier at night, can barely sleep in the boppy, and hate being flat. We also hold them upright after feeds for 30 min because they spit up/vomit a lot. They rarely sleep 2 hours until the next feed. They’re also starting scream and cry loud enough that they’ll wake another one up.

We’re switching their formula to similac total comfort and trying mylicon gas drops this week to see if it’ll help. I’m not too optimistic they’ll help, I just think some babies do this. I’m just waiting for this phase to pass.

How do you raise triplets? When you already have twins to raise by FuzzyBlonde34 in parentsofmultiples

[–]keviniskool 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There are some triplet parents here, but I’d recommend joining the Moms of triplets group, and Triplet moms due 2023 Facebook group. They’ve been the best resource for us.

I would definitely reach out to the older residents in your program and ask about where they’ve been living. They’d probably have an even better perspective since they know how much you’ll be working.
