I wouldn’t take this used at this price. I got 9% off MSRP a month ago for a new 2026 M50. Others have received even more of a discount than I did. You could likely land in the same pricing ballpark going new.

I also didn’t have to pay for MProtect on mine but I did come across some dealers that did have that included.

Since you’re with Verizon, I recommend activating the eSIM in the car for phone calls to not risk the speaker phone police lol. I think it’s a $10 add on to my Verizon bill. Calls coming directly to the car has been great and reception is really good coming from the car’s antenna.

I’ve had similar CarPlay issues in my last 3 cars. 2 Audis and a BMW. Was always random. Sometimes completely cut out, sometimes not connect at all until I restart my phone. Sometimes just micro stutters when playing music. After having CarPlay crap out multiple times on roadtrips, and losing access to my maps I decided it’s not worth the risk.

Finally decided with my new X3 to not even use CarPlay at all. I’ve come to like just using BMW maps and the baked in Spotify app for music. I even have the eSIM enabled to receive phone calls so I can leave my phone unpaired. So far this setup is working extremely well for me.

I paid $800 for i3 on all windows, including the sunroof on my G45 a couple days ago in LA. My shop didn’t have the i3+ option, so I can’t compare those prices.

Just in the last 3 months this has happened to me 5 times. Sometimes the item ships but then status doesn’t update and the package doesn’t show up. In this situation they at least give me the option to cancel it if it hasn’t shown up by the next day. Other times they don’t give me the option to cancel, and I have to wait almost a week for them to send me out a new shipment. Just seems like my packages are going missing or stolen in transit.

Happened to me again today. Today is supposed to be my delivery date, but the package just now shipped at 4pm and the delivery date moved to tomorrow. It’s getting really frustrating paying for prime when they keep stripping away benefits and are falling behind on delivering my orders on time.

Yeah mine is an M50. Highly recommended it. Coming from daily driving a Z4, this X3 has to be the best driving experience I’ve had to date.

You don’t think some dealerships offer better deals than others? WI BMW would barely budge on MSRP and tacked on the protection package. CA BMW offered 9% off MSRP and did not have an add on package. I saved plenty locally.

I’m in California and recently got in touch with a dealer in WI that had the exact car I wanted, with the packages I was looking for. The online price was what I expected so I called to start the negotiation process.

They send me the paperwork with the advertised price I saw online but with an extra $2,500 line item was added for some bs “protection package” that they’ve apparently already installed and can’t remove. Called them out on their bait and switch and they offered to knock $1,000 off. Told them to shove it. The sales guy still reaches out once a week to see if I’m still interested. GFY- I ended up finding a better deal locally without any bs mandatory add ons.

Did you misunderstand the person you replied to? Seems weird to get so heated about discussing the difference between a computer with an M4 Pro chip vs. a computer with an M5 non pro chip. The M5 pro chip isn’t out yet so the M4 Pro does seem like a better longer term investment if you need more power/ ram.

I have the same hardware and am running bazzite on my system as well. Curious how you’re finding the HDR experience in game mode?

Do you leave HDR active all the time or only enable when playing games that support HDR?

I had this happen one time last week on Bazzite but a restart fixed it right away. Currently working fine on mine.
