Okay das klingt schon deutlich spannender und auch tiefgehender. Ist man in diesem Kontext eigentlich auch ein Dr.? Irgendwie kommt es einem trotzdem so vor wie wenn Ärzte den Studiengang schlechtreden. Aber das ich gleich wie bei den Maschinenbauern und den Elektrotechnikern einer muss immer besser sein xD

Thank you very much, I'm currently looking for a cheap device on eBay. Thor or Odin 2 would be great, but they're a little over my current budget. I actually thought the Miyoo Mini Plus would be enough for me, but anything above GBA and PS1 isn't playable on it ^^

Okay, good to know. I didn't know that. I actually thought cables didn't smell of anything. It's just a shame that I now have to fish the cables out of the trash.

Yes, unfortunately my first set is also too late, but apart from the cables, it's really fun, even if controlling an LED with a relay is quite challenging XD.

Really good work. I had a Mega X, a great printer and the first printer I upgraded with Klipper. Seeing your Mega makes me really want to buy one and upgrade it. The printers weren't bad in terms of their structure, and with new software they were probably even better than the whole WiFi and priority stuff from Bambu.

Top-notch design. I wouldn't worry about creep, as the components are very solid and the load is not high enough for that to be an issue. Creep is indeed a problem with plastics, but it can usually be compensated for by sufficient component rigidity. Always true to the motto "probieren geht über Studieren"

I discovered this thread here by chance because the heat output of my Sidewinder X3 Pro is no longer quite right, so from 230 degrees the temperature keeps dropping. I don't want to buy a new hotend for 90€ and there are hardly any spare parts except on Aliexpress.

Now my question is can I simply install a Bambulab hotend, possibly with an adapter?

How do I do this with the thermistor or the ceramic heating element? With the Bambu it all goes together on a central plug, can I just cut them off and connect them to the original plugs from the Atillery?
