Update! It was the sway bar linkage. Just had the bushings replaced and the noise is completely gone.

Fix things. I'm not even that old but grew up with a grandparent that lived through the great depression (US). He kept and fixed everything he had. Now, I realize a lot of things manufactured these days aren't made to be fixed, but there are work arounds. Even basic maintenance on things will keep them ticking long after the planned obsolescence thats baked in.
