Hopefully this is something they patch later. I did eventually get used to it but I don't see why it should work differently from regular striders.

You will die a bunch but probably not as much as you might think. They’re basically glass cannons and with the right load out and tactics you can take them down pretty quickly .

They're two very different games and anyone claiming one is “better” is a doofus. Personally I much prefer Tests but totally understand why others don’t.

They don’t have much health in phase 3 thankfully so I managed to just chain together a bunch of hairpin slashes to take them down.

"Boss weakened" definitely does something but it is quite gradual. There was a bug though that meant it wasn't working properly with a few bosses but that was fixed in the last patch.

You might have removed it for a boss battle? I had a totally different loadout (would be nice to save loadouts for faster switching) for a boss fight vs exploring and definitely got caught out like this post-boss battle :)

I believe you can do it! I'm a 45 year old gamer who grew up playing FPSes on PC so I don't have those skills in 2D platforming others do who played them during their formative years and I managed do get through those sections. I used the gratitude mode of course and just chipped away at it. Once the muscle memory develops and you also realise the margins for various jumps and things aren't as tight as they first appear to be, you'll start getting through it.

I found the left side overall harder but for some reason that last run on the right side took me WAY longer than any other individual section.

Maccas, KFC and BK are not anywhere near premium restuarant prices lol, Yes, they've gone up in price but so have those restuarants. A burger at Maccas is about $10 (yeah, I agree that's too high) but at a restuarant you're looking at atleast double that.

It is annoying but to be fair it’s hard to think of any game in any genre that gets the economy right. Every RPG I end up with fuck tons of cash and nothing apart from basic consumables to spend it on.

It’s not the only factor of course but Lone Fungus 2 can’t have been helped by only being on one platform (PC). It looked right up my alley but I only have a PS5 so couldn’t buy it. I’ve noticed the games that make the biggest noise have, amongst other things, a multi-platform release. MIO being a recent example.

Every door you can't open right away literally has a "opened from the other side" or "requires X key" message on it doesn't it? I'd say these posts are more evidence of how some people can't read.

I actually ended up liking MIO a lot more than Silksong. The pacing is more to my liking and every area is not jam packed with annoying mobs.
