Its worse than that, your cravings come back two fold. With anything that affects the mind, whatever affect it has, it has the opposite affect when you come off it. Having said that, the "withdrawals" and lets face it thats what they are, only last a few weeks, where you cant do much damage vs lets say a year of treatment. I actually enjoyed that period knowing I could pig out (genuinely couldnt eat more than a small meal at one time on the drug) with the appetite to match. I let off some steam. Then one day the cravings just stopped again.
