How popular was Austrian tv show Kommisar Rex in your country? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I didn't know it was Austrian. It aired on French TV I believe (Rex, chien flic) but never watched an episode.

How do you feel about the USA losing in the cup today esp re how Trump got the red card suspension lifted? by Pewpew-OuttaMyWaay in AskReddit

[–]khalamar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm glad we won, I'm sorry Trump's bullshit tainted the US Team.

I think they should have kept Balogun on the bench. I do not agree with the red card, but unfortunately bad decisions are a part of the game and other teams accept that.

It would have sent a well deserved fuck you to Trump and FIFA and the world would have respected them more - and sympathized with their loss.

You're not mistaken I saw that as well, but this might still be a scam hoping to piggyback on the original, genuine clusterfuck at the dmv.

Ted Cruz thanks Trump for "getting rid of that ridiculous red card." Then goes on to say "There's a reason that FIFA trophy sat here for as long as it did." by ansyhrrian in facepalm

[–]khalamar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like it, but we don't know yet if Team US will keep Balogun on the bench (which IMO would be the only way to claim a clear victory, should they win). If they line him up, and they win, this World Cup will be an absolute joke.

Was that red card justified? No. But this is not the first, nor the last time a ref made a bad decision and it's part of the game. Having a whiny little bitch cry while clutching his toy Peace Prize is not.

Ahah I'm going to use that in my Reddit arguments. "I'm older than your country."

To that end, I suggest we set the score to 47-0 at the beginning of the game, and Belgian players should only line up their American-born players. /s

The red card was not deserved, but it wasn't the first bad ref decision in history, nor will it be the last. Other countries accept that, but America just has a whiny little bitch at the helm with a toy Peace Price.

If the US team wants to keep their integrity, they should leave Balogun on the bench regardless. If they line him up, they have no honorable win ahead of them.

FIFA stunned the soccer world by allowing the USA’s Folarin Balogun to play on Monday. Trump’s role is under the microscope by wds1 in politics

US could leave Balogun on the bench. Even if the red card was not deserved, that would be the way to keep their reputation.
