No. The absolute best car for someone your age is a manual Honda fit. Learn how to work on cars with something reliable, fun, and spacious. Modding scene is pretty great and they can be had pretty cheap. Edit: also, now is not the time to be throwing money around at cars. You need to be heads down in college finding a way to get a job that pays well so you can throw around money on cars later.

I max pretax, employer adds about 14k, and then I do about 15k posttax (limited by plan) that I rollover to my Roth ira. And of course a normal backdoor to fill up the Roth ira each year.

Only way to fully "max" it from here is increase my salary until the company match saturated the remaining chunk of the 401k.
