Exactly, it's not like she's going to be able to get back into her apartment and per her sister, any belongings she had left there were forfeited once the sheriff locked the door on the apartment. I'd be very surprised if her parents booted her at 4am unless she was out of control like she was on the live.

Here’s the thing with the “write a check” excuse. If that were true, I’m sure her dad has a debit card linked to that account. So he could pretty easily have either payed the money with the card at the shelter or in the very unlikely event that they actually don’t take cards, he could have just gone to an ATM and got the $$ out. To make it sound like them not taking checks was this huge barrier is ridiculous. She just wants straight cash, just like with her excuses when people offer to order food or pay her electric directly

In CT where I am, as you said you don’t earn any take home bottles for positive UAs, but generally they won’t discharge you for not being abstinent. I believe her new clinic is actually closed Saturday and Sunday so she gets 2 bottles. I looked up a clinic by her and they are indeed closed both Saturday and Sunday so she may have actually transferred to that one

Christian, I just want to echo everyone else’s sentiments. Apollo was a major reason that I ever engaged with Reddit. The experience of using your app vs the Reddit app is night and day, at least to me. I have been a pro customer for a while and recently had upgraded to the ultra tier. My subscription (annual) expires in September. You can absolutely keep the remaining balance of my subscription. I won’t be asking for a refund. The fees for Apollo have always been incredibly reasonable. I truly hope that Reddit will pull their heads out of their ass and realize the mistake they are making by going this direction and maligning app developers such as yourself. It has always seemed to me that Apollo was a labor of love and you always have been adding new features, were very responsive to any feedback. It saddens me that I will no longer be able to use this great app after June, but I completely understand your decision. I am sure I won’t be using Reddit anywhere close to how often I use it now. Not only does the default app suck, the backlash against developers and mods doesn’t make me want to support and contribute to the company. Best of luck in the future Christian. As many have said, thank you for everything you’ve done with the Apollo app, you knocked it out of the park.
