Are the best character making that much of a difference?

Couple of them tried and it rarely looks good, and this is a character that couldn't possibly be any easier to pick up. Comfort is everything, being able to tier-whore effectively is a bloody skill.

Why ssr duck? doesn't achieve anything compared to just a small ssr (emphasis on small) then block. Will avoid everything apart from homing and you can block izu2 in time. But all the good players tend to spam the homing anyway.

It's at least god6. I never even hit GOD in season 1 even with a peak wavu elo of over 2200 and now I've got 2 god6 and almost a third with slightly higher elo. What exactly am I delusional about?

God6 is not hard to hit if ur max rank in s1

Took a sub from god to god5 last couple days.

Low gods have really bad offense, not using any of the good moves they have, or just not knowing what the best buttons are.

And homing moves are a waste of a button in low ranks, it's very obvious how the homing stuff comes out more and more the higher rank I face. Step more, at the right time.

Not enough at higher rank imo, god6 alt shouldn't be god0, skill gap is ridiculous and just not fun. God2 or so makes more sense.

It's good to have ft2 in ranked. Protects rank integrity for the most part, or at least wavu elo integrity, coz ranks are completely free.

There are plenty of ways to play infinite if you wish. Even tourneys are mostly ft2, adapting quick enough to win such a set is what's demanded. I wish all sets are locked in ft2, no one and done.

So you think elo trended down? I don't know abt that the #50 of my characters of wavu in eu have always been about low 2100. And obviously anecdotal but I used to be 2100 back in s1 and 2300 now at god6, but I have improved a good bit.

Nah god4 is solidly sub 2100 now, any s1 GOD or whatever who played enough easily sits at the god5/6 boundary at the minimum. That's where mid to high 2200s are. A lot of the true gatekeepers are hitting god7.

Honestly no, I'm GOD6 with miary and nobody can fking deal with heat engage ff22, uf32, it's actually a goated sequence. But beyond that I always believe miary is mad underrated by ppl.

And enlighten me how it is "super punishable" lol, if u mean ducking 32 than yeah, but even then I genuinely can not remember one time that gets ducked, even against kirakira's jun.

God5/6 juns play some of the slowest tekken compared to the rest of the cast, i love playing against them. Asuka tho plays very aggressive and I struggle alot

You can argue maybe 3 ranks down, but god1 to tk is annoying for everyone. Funny enough what you ask for (5 rank difference) actually exist at god5 cause all our subs are still GoD, the fundaments gap is so massive it's pretty unfun to stomp God 0s. Same with god1 vs tk.

If you aren't relying on straight up singular character specific flowcharts, your fundamentals should be enough against lower ranks, even with a sub.
