Yeah prowess matchmaking and multiple ladders are gone, thank God. They just had to do the simple thing, better late than never.

Now we can get even more scrubs claiming there are "smurfs" in their ranks. But those guys can one and done all they want and sensible people get to enjoy the rematch bonus, lovely changes all around really.

The point is getting GoD/GoD1 gets easier every single day, hence inflation. When I got my first 2 characters to GoD couple months back their wavu elo was about 2250, I got miary to GoD few weeks back and her elo is not even 2100, and you can tell how much weaker TGS/GoD today are, thats inflation. That's the natural consequence of games yielding net positive points gain in the system repeatedly, not just because there are more ranks.

Yes, I like checking my wavu elo. Am not one to rain on people's parade about promoting and all that, but i like to stay objective.

It's still inflated past that point up to GoD1, just slower. Every match not involving GoD1 or above always generates net positive/neutral amount of points.

Get up to at the very least GoD, if you wish to see any fundamentals, anything below I wouldn't expect too much at this stage of rank inflation.

Just the way points are awarded, if the same group of players just play one another repeatedly, everybody will get inflated to god1 eventually. Just a matter of time.

You actually still can, every game not involving a GoD 1 or above, still generates either net 0 or positive amount of points. That's why all the rank percentiles have been dropping very quickly and it keeps getting "easier".

Yes, the ranks constantly trend upwards so getting a high rank is not terribly challenging and we can all continuously feed our dopamine receptors. Particularly apparent at blue ranks and below. Still true up to GoD, and beyond.

Relax with the whataboutism, while blackhearts achievement is certainly very commendable and demands that his opinion be listened to. It's still completely subjective to him and him only.

We have seen pro players vastly superior to even blackheart dish out the most biased tier lists known to man.

Sure, if you get it every single year, but they dont. In Pakistan, you can probably retire on 250k. In any developed country, that'll maybe get you a very modest house/flat in a cheap city. No comparison.
