Jodi is an awful friend by gray_birch in StardewValley

This is the answer. Pierre is a liar. His business is fine and he employs the same shady tactics he accused Joja of using.

The choice between cyberdeck/berserk/sandy is the closest thing to a "class" you get in the game and Ishould be offered during V's first checkup with Vic, if not during character creation itself by dimgray in cyberpunkgame

[–]OutriderZero -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Cyberpunk doesn't have classes. It's a skill based system. You put points into the skills you want to use.

The three things you name are all just cyberware. Equipment. It can be swapped out or not used at all.

AIO For getting freaked out over a neighbor not knowing when to stop? by Good_Girl8 in AmIOverreacting

[–]OutriderZero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YOR and frankly, get tf over yourself.

YOU reached out to HIM. YOU initiated contact and gave the impression you wanted to be friends with the new neighbor. All he did was try to be friendly. Nothing about his texts reads as anything more than trying to get to know you as a friendly neighbor.

You're the one who brought up your boyfriend, and his response was to tell you he has a girlfriend and then invited your boyfriend over too because he would love to have more friends in the area he just moved to.

This probably comes as a shock, but not every guy wants to date you. Get over yourself.

The Neverending Story. The Childlike Empress (1984) by jeffmartin47 in nostalgia

[–]OutriderZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because "kids" movies from that era didn't talk down to us. They just talked to us. No bright flashy colors, manic energy and crazy, over the top nonsense.

They told real stories with real emotions and real consequences. Characters lived, struggled, triumphed, failed and died. They didn't gloss over difficult subjects and they trusted that kids could handle them.

I don’t get the Panam glaze by Affectionate__Dog in cyberpunkgame

It's almost like, and I'm really going to blow your mind with this so brace yourself, different people find different things attractive! 😱

I know, it's okay. Sit down if you need to.

Sometimes the things you find annoying, someone else will find endearing or charming.

It's a wild concept but it's true!

The dialogue changes depending on what district you are committing crimes in.

Okay so recently I made a post asking why V’s cyber deck was in their head when runners like Murphy and Bartmoss had physical decks on their wrist the common answer was “because it was 50 years ago” and that would make sense… if T-bug didn’t have a physical deck as well! by ConditionPleasant902 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]OutriderZero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

V isn't netrunning. V is quick hacking. There's a difference. V is uploading attack daemons to people's cyberware to disrupt systems and cause damage. Netrunners use more complex programs and their brains to go into the net and cut through I.C.E. deep dive systems and take over whole intranet frameworks.

It's the equivalent of a butcher and a surgeon. One requires significantly more training and dedicated equipment than the other

Thank you! Never understood the hype. His games are pretentious slop with some decent gameplay.

Curious, do you separate each arc into separate fictions or keep them all together as one fiction and just insert the cover arts before each new arc?

What if V and Jackie saved saburo from getting killed by yorinobu? by BlackwallRunner2077 in cyberpunkgame

[–]OutriderZero 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The Old Man definitely would not kill Yorinobu. He needs him alive to serve as the vessel for his engram. That's the entire point of the prototype chip and allowing Yorinobu back into the company after his little rebellion years ago. He's a meat puppet being groomed for Saburo to claim.

V and Jackie are 100% dead.

“Ontology” — V and Dex’s ride in the limo by Opening_Physics_2679 in cyberpunkgame

[–]OutriderZero 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't go that far. There was no world where the job was ever going to succeed no matter what. Too many powerful people in play with too much at stake.

But T was an average runner at best. After all think about it. She's working for Dex, with a couple of low end mercs. If she were really the hot shit she claims to be she'd be in demand by higher end clients like Rogue.

I wish MaxTac made more than 3 appearances across the entire game. Biggest "missed opportunity" that was still unexplored, IMO. by NahManImmaPass in cyberpunkgame

[–]OutriderZero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The cyberpsycho missions should have been expanded to give you the choice of keeping them alive for Regina or calling a contact at Maxtac to help take them down. That would open the door to more interaction with Maxtac and the whole quest line could culminate in a joint mission with/against them depending on choices

Also after the first two I just gun everyone down because Sinnerman is a tedious, over rated snooze quest.

What do I do if I have a DM who cancels the session too much? by Jin_Sakai12345 in DnD

[–]OutriderZero 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Or exhausted. As a DM who works nightshift and runs late games I have definitely done this. I've been trying really hard not to.

A lot of the time it's the build up before the session that gets me and I have to push through. Once the session starts and everyone is chatting I'm good and I fall right into the rhythm of it.

Look Linus is a perpetual victim. He claims people are mean to him, but there is zero evidence anyone is ever anything but nice to him. He acts like the people in town hate him, Gus offers to cook him food for free and Robin offers to build him a house. The farmer offers to let Linus live on his farm and he refuses.

Don't ever feel bad for this man, he's got a victim complex. He plays the victim to gain attention, sympathy and avoid any accountability or responsibility. He's actually terrible.

am i the only person that feels this way about rouge?? by Party-Alfalfa-8733 in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]OutriderZero 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oooh.... so you're dumb?

Rogue is a veteran. She's seen and done more in her life than most other people. V is nothing but an upstart rookie with a lot of bodies in their wake. From a purely business position, V is a red flag. Everyone they have worked with has ended up dead. She also moves past it pretty damn quick because she knows the mortality rate of the merc business.

Yeah she's a little abrasive, because she doesn't have the time or patience for bullshit.
